It's an interesting question. Some on here have stated that the Mint, at time of actual shipping, will lower it down to one (1).
But, I question (because I do not know) - is there any actual data points on this from past subscription sales?
Has the Mint lowered the HHL on a subscription, AFTER the subscription was already locked in for a higher number, and then when the subscription went out - only the lower HHL amount was shipped? Just looking for historical context and datapoints.
Today's e-mail asked us to go in and verify our credit card and shipping info based upon our subscription details.

Good question. I got the same email and my subscription still shows 3 units. I was told earlier in this thread it would be reduced to 1 upon fulfillment but I am curious to see what happens.

Yes. In the past, subscriptions have been reduced to the HHL on the day of release. What I do not recall, however, was an e-mail going out two weeks before referencing a higher number.
I will be shocked if they let us buy 3 on subscription when the ATS is only 35K and everyone else is limited to 1.

Yes, NJ is correct.
I don't know why anyone thinks they would violate the HHL

This HHL issue is not new. They've always adjusted them down.
And government isn't half as messed up as academia.

Agreed that the HHL is not new - we've all seen them change the HHL's over the past couple of years with the more popular issues.
If it was a normal vendor/company offering a product for sale, with a Pre-Order HHL, I would have expected them to have at least reset the quantity and the amount expected due just prior to release...
Yet, the Mint sent me an e-mail today saying that I have subscribed to three (3), and based upon current pricing, that I am expected to pay $525 for subscribing the three (3).
I think someone else around is fond of a certain saying...about the US Mint!

does anyone know if you can buy one on drop day eventhough you have a subscription for one already? will the HHL not allow me to buy one in addition to my sub?

As of now ATS for the bulk buyers is 450 (was 708 yesterday).
Not exactly flying off the shelf.
Wonder why. Inside info on planned mintage?
I think it has something to do with the $100 premium on an ounce of silver.

Your only allowed 1 for starters
It's telling you that none were available when you added them to your bag.
Next time try adding just one to your bag, since that's the HHL.
'One set shipped per year per subscription'
That doesn't overrule the HHL, if that's what you're thinking
