Glad for you all that USMINT honored prior subscription numbers.
My late to the CONDRATULATIONS 2026 party limit of one is processing too.
As a bonus I noticed 2026 Silver Proof Set red button was lit a half hour ago so I bumped subscription to 8 sets up from 5 with HHL still at 10.
I see these sets as 1.5 ounce silver, really though, just 1.47 ounces included but close enough for my fuzzy math. So now I've got 12 ounces in fractional .999 silver incoming in a couple months. Up till now I had no USMINT .999 fine fractional silver assuming none go back for QC problems.

You should be more upset if they fulfilled orders for 3 against a HHL of 1.
In case you've never noticed, if you buy gas, they frequently ping your card for $75 or more and then charge the actual purchase price. A ping is not a sale.
All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.
Well, I didn't look at my credit card pings, but the Mint's order history page shows that I am getting a couple orders above HHL1. I was not "expecting" to drop a grand on over priced silver at this point. I've had subscriptions dropped before, but I think it was before processing and not after. I will wait to see what happens.
I wonder if a lot of people dropped out with the excessive price increase and having the lower demand they decided to leave the previous subscriptions alone...

They save $50 million a year by eliminating the cent, and every place that I shop they give me all sorts of discount coupons around 20% for selling them a box of 2020-2024 cents at face of $25. Meanwhile hundreds of billions go to fraud. The government priorities seem bass ackwards. Home Depot and every grocery store is severely short on cents and it is a problem for them.

I’m curious if any of the 3 subscription folks have confirmed with the mint that they’re actually getting 3? The ATS number of a little over 8,000 for this Thursday along with the reported 4,000 purchases by the bulk buyers could mean the 3 subscription people really are getting 3, or there will be a lot more available in a few days after release once they lose 2 each to the HHL.

There is nothing to confirm. The HHL is 1. No common folk will be getting more than 1, other than by using multiple accounts, until the HHL is lifted at noon on Friday.
"A lot more" will be available at noon on Thursday, because those subscriptions for 3 will be filled with 1 at some point before then, with the excess returned to inventory. This will be a blip on the radar, since it's not more than a few thousand one way or the other, and will impact the sell out time by minutes at most.
ABPP purchasers are not subject to HHLs. The fact that they got whatever the Mint set aside for them has NOTHING, nothing at all, to do with what retail is allowed to buy while a HHL is in place.
You REALLY don't need to waste time and energy speculating about all the ways you can game the system. There is only one way -- enlisting friends and family to set up accounts and make purchases on your behalf. And then hitting the website at 7:30 a.m. every day to see if anything pops up once the HHL is lifted.
I feel that I haven’t wasted my time or effort, since you were gracious enough to take time to answer. I have been simply reading the thread and noting several folks claiming to have been charged for three (most notably on YouTube channels) and wondering if two of their three will be available to me during the few minutes they are for sale. I lost out on subscribing and was hoping for more than a 1 in 8,000 shot at one, but you have pointed out that the additional ones available will also go in a flash.
I thank you for your time, and I’m sorry that you may have misunderstood my intent. It’s not a game to me, simply a desire to get a coin which I would prefer to get from the Mint. If I can’t, I can’t. Your replies are almost always educational to me as a long-time lurker who doesn’t post often.

Yes. 2 of their 3 will be available to you. No one was charged anything yet.
The Mint was just doing authorizations, similar to what you do when you check in to a hotel, for the amount on the subscription. All those "charges" are merely pending and will be reduced to the cost of one, plus shipping, when the order actually processes.

Thanks for the kind words!!! 😀
Much appreciated. It was odd to read “my money is gone! Mint took $525 from me” from so many. lol. My Dad began buying them for me in 1986 and once he passed away I continued them yearly on my own. This year, I thought this was most appealing to me, but will settle for the dual date one if I fail Thursday.
My one Philly Congrats has not hit my card as a charge or pre charge as I routinely call every morning to see whats up ? Mint says "subscription processing" since 2-22.
The webpage for the subscription switched to this a few days ago:
**Next Product in Subscription:
Congratulations Set 2027
Ships 2027
**
Yet the 2026 hasn't even shipped yet.
I would not be surprised if the mint allows three for some people, but we will see in three days. Also, for those hopeful to get one on the morning of release, the obstacle is the waiting line they impose and how to get past that in time to order. In the old days the website would crash but you could get in, and after enough complaints they made it so you have to wait in a line that somehow dictates who gets to order. This is in a modern era where the largest etailers could easily handle the volume of people who want to place orders without a waiting line.

Please don't rush into the dual date one. With a mintage of 500K, they won't be going anywhere.
If you fail on Thursday, try them at 7:30 a.m. for a week or so. Fast sellouts almost always have some come back, due to bad credit cards, people getting caught exceeding HHLs, buyer's club orders (bots) being canceled, etc.

And I will be absolutely shocked. Because it's not some dude sitting at a computer processing these.
If they have a HHL in place, the system won't allow ANY order to exceed it. It's why they won't let you put more than the limit in your cart, and won't allow you to proceed to checkout if they are already in the cart.
It's all system based. They didn't go back and purge the subscriptions with the higher amount because they are leaving the subscriptions alone, in case there is no HHL in the future.
The subscription is fine. It's the actual order that will be reduced while a HHL is in place. Take it to the bank, and be VERY surprised if anything else happens.
Also, their new system with the waiting room actually works pretty well. "The largest etailers" don't handle nearly the level of traffic the Mint attracts for a hot release.
And, on the rare occasions they do, like for a hot ticket on Ticketmaster, they have the exact same issues the Mint has. Don't kid yourself. No ecommerce system is infinitely scalable.

Be careful with enhanced uncirculated as well. They have the same product number as a regular uncirculated, and are listed as a regular uncirculated on the subscription page, with the same release date.
So it's a TBD as to whether "enhanced" is a typo on the website, or whether they will actually be doing something different this year with this coin.

Yes I noticed that if you view the “product schedule” for April 21 it says “enhanced uncirculated” but if you click to subscribe it defaults to a plain “uncirculated” coin. Some believe it’s the same thing and will take the place of the regular uncirculated this year, and others believe the written words when attempting to subscribe. Caution is warranted, as you point out. Would help to have a legit image under the product page.

Correct. We'll get guidance, and an image, closer to release, because the product page will have specifications that are now missing. If you look at the specifications for the subscription, they very clearly say that the finish is "uncirculated" and that it ships on April 21st at $169.
Same date and price as the so-called enhanced uncirculated. So stay tuned.
My hunch is that it's not an enhanced uncirculated, because that would be given a different product number, as every enhanced uncirculated in the past had. It's how they keep inventory straight.

From data it appears Amazon easily takes magnitudes of orders above what the mint does on the busiest day of the year, well over 80,000 per minute. There are databases that could handle everything the mint would bring to them. A large AI database can require the electrical needs of one nuclear power plant all by itself.
Asking AI:
Do "the largest etailers" handle nearly the level of traffic the US Mint attracts for a hot release
No. The biggest online retailers handle vastly more traffic, even during normal operations, than the U.S. Mint sees in a “hot” numismatic release.

I have been reading more about the “enhanced uncirculated” AE, which does look nice to these old eyes. That might be a better option for me than the dual-dated one, which, as you pointed out will probably be available for a very long time.
Be careful with enhanced uncirculated as well. They have the same product number as a regular uncirculated, and are listed as a regular uncirculated on the subscription page, with the same release date.
So it's a TBD as to whether "enhanced" is a typo on the website, or whether they will actually be doing something different this year with this coin.
.
Doesn't W mintmark on reverse makes more desirable than no mint mark monster box 2026
90k max with W mint mark ?
From data it appears Amazon easily takes magnitudes of orders above what the mint does on the busiest day of the year, well over 80,000 per minute. There are databases that could handle everything the mint would bring to them. A large AI database can require the electrical needs of one nuclear power plant all by itself.
Asking AI:
Do "the largest etailers" handle nearly the level of traffic the US Mint attracts for a hot release
No. The biggest online retailers handle vastly more traffic, even during normal operations, than the U.S. Mint sees in a “hot” numismatic release.
