3rd and 6 and jam Stephenson into a pile of defenders

    Good job Josh

weather conditions are very poor right now. I think either team will have a very difficult time putting any more points on the board without a big turnover.

With that punt, the Pats are in a tough spot.

Congratulations to the Patriots but that wasn’t much of an offensive showing. I can’t see 65 passing yards cutting the mustard in the Super Bowl, no matter who they play.

    Unbelievable

Thank God Payton decided to act like Dan Campbell and not kick that early FG

Had he done the correct thing they would still be playing lol

i think after this season coaches are going to think twice about forgoing guaranteed points

think Denver could have used that 3 at the end?

every single freaking point is vital in the playoffs

go ahead, risk get nothing when you're guaranteed to boost your score

i knew a coach was going to screw his team before this season ended

very true. I am very confident of a better showing than 65 yards passing

I missed the game. No big deal as it was apparently not very exciting.

Congratulations to the Patriots in advancing to the Superbowl.

Unfortunately my Broncos lost, but the team had one heck of a good year, far exceeding all expectations. This 10-7 loss reminds me of the 10-7 loss Denver suffered at the hands of Buffalo in the 1991 AFC Title game. Buffalo went on to lose the Superbowl for the first of four straight years.

Good game bud, Denver had a great season

The actual game was gross and both teams deserved to win and lose

the Broncos had a great season. with a young quarterback they will be back. Bo is only going to get better. Patriots do not win that game if Nix was playing.

Maybe coaches will think twice about the “throw away 3 point strategy” on so many plays. The Lion’s coach was the league leader with strategy, and look where his team was in the post season.

Yes the Patriots will have to play “real football” to win. The offense can’t start the game sleep walking.

Who would New England prefer to play in the Superbowl, LA or Seattle?

    Neither lol

Seattle is the tougher team on D so probably LA

I am rooting for LA. I dislike them less than Seattle.

Why do I dislike Seattle? It’s illogical, but when Pete Carol was their coach, my skin crawled. Carol took over as the Patriots coach when Bill Parcels dumped on the team before a Super Bowl. Parcels was resigning, but he couldn’t keep his mouth shut before the big game. The Pats got smoked in that Super Bowl.

Carol was the next coach. The Pats got worse every year under his regime. Finally the Pats let him go. He went college coaching and was very successful. He came back with the pros, but I could not forgive him. Illogical, but that’s part of the reason why I don’t like “the Sea Buzzards.”

As for the Rams, they teased the football fans in St. Louis and then pulled the rug out from under them. They moved back to the more affluent “La-La Land.” The Rams couldn’t make in LA so they moved to St Louis. Then they moved back. The late Howard Cossel called that “carpet bagging.”

I don’t care for either team.

At least I will have a team to root for in the Super Bowl. Denver versus the other two is nothing more than one last pro football game for the year. If you really pushed me, I’d vote for “the little horses.”

This cat is Tommy. I have 5 feral cats I take care of but they will not let me pat them. I have houses setup outside for them . Three are long hair and 2 are all black. Five years ago we caught them all and had them spayed and neutered . There were twenty one of them but these are the only ones left as we live in coyote country!

Seattle didn't. kill them and put up a good fight.

  • craig44craig44 Posts: 12,670 ✭✭✭✭✭

Seattle is a strong team, but i was expecting more from that defense after all that i heard this week. I thought i was going to see the 85 bears or the 00 ravens. didnt look like that to me.

To keep this in sports category I had the chance back in 1960 to purchase shares in the Patriots for $5 a share but was just getting out of the Marine Corps and did not have a job so had to pass up the offer when I lived in Walpole!

Anyone else see the quote about what Mike Vrabel said he would do to win a Super Bowl? Yikes.

Cringe worthy joke for sure, but nobody can say he's not dedicated. 😂
