We all need to just realize this

this. things have been feeling very familiar for about a month or so. Patriots are for real.

other than maybe Allen, there is not another QB in the league I would rather have.

New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore is facing one count of assault and battery on a family/household members stemming from an incident that took place in August, according to Attleborough District Court documents obtained by WCVB on Wednesday (December 31).

Barmore, 26, was reported to have been in a relationship with the victim, who claims he became angry with her about the air conditioning temperature in his bedroom. The woman said Barmore grabbed her phone from her hands as she was attempting to leave his home, stating that she "intended to open the door and scream for help but Christian grabbed her before she could and threw her to the floor."

The victim said Barmore grabbed her by the shirt "in the area of the neck" as she attempted to get up before eventually letting go. Barmore allegedly rushed at the victim, but never touched her, according to the police report.

I noticed this thread has gone dormant. what are you guys thoughts on Sundays game?

I am encouraged that Drake looked so much better in the second half. I hope he got his playoff jitters out in that first half.

it looks like gonzalez will play as he practiced yesterday

i think they really need to establish the run. I am sure they will average about 3 y/c, but without that threat, the Houston line is going to be flying at Drake all game.

I think the Pats will. have their hands full offensively, I think we will see Maye running a LOT, I think Vrabel put the breaks on him running during the regular season and now it's win or go. home so. I think he is going to let Maye run as much as he wants, I'm not making any predictions for this game other than it's going to be tough cracking that D

Stroud doesn't scare me one bit though

Alright Patriots guys, I didnt want to sound too cocky in the general NFL thread as there are Bronco's fans there, but I think we are winning next Sunday. I just cannot see us losing to Stidham. they have a good defense, but i dont think it is as good as Houston's was and we put up 3 TD's on them with Maye putting the ball on the ground 4 times.

My only concern is that Davis doesnt make it through the protocal before the game. when we have the secondary at full strength and Milton Williams providing that push up the middle it is a very formidable defense.

I have to think that at some point here in the playoffs that Drake is going to get this fumblitis under control. when he does, we could be blowing out teams.

btw, i heard on the radio that we are 4.5 point favorites on the road. I think they give 3 points to the home team so that means currently we are favored by over a TD.

I have a feeling that the next 10-12 years are going to be stressful in the craig44 house, just like they were during the Brady years come playoff time. Gotta say, I love that stress a lot better than the meaningless games of the last 5 years!

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

  • perkdogperkdog Posts: 33,552 ✭✭✭✭✭

I'm done stressing and getting emotional about the Pats and Sox

Obviously I want them to win but at this point we got 6 Super Bowl wins, once Brady left the Pats I was satisfied

When Brady was there every year we made the playoffs it was an emotional event game by game, the Super Bowl's multiplied it and the stress they put me on since every Super Bowl was tough as nails since they never played as good as they could for some reason and when they lost I was in a furious mood for a couple weeks after the game ended

My emotions are out of it, GO Pats

  • craig44craig44 Posts: 12,670 ✭✭✭✭✭

I wish I was there with you perk, but I am still a stressed out mess come gameday. cant get it out of my system. it is amazing how quickly that feeling came back once i realized this team is for real.

just think, one more SB and the Patriots will have more than any other team!!!

The 8th Super Bowl would be a nice thing for sure, we gotta get past Denver first and I'm telling you right now it's not going to be an easy task

    GO PATS!!!!!

I have to give credit to Kraft/Front Office for a portion of this seasons success. It took some guts to fire a Head Coach after only one season. the move had to me made (Mayo was just awful) but it must have taken some intestinal fortitude to admit such a mistake.

without Vrabel, this season would have looked much different

100% and to move on from Mac Jones was a solid decision as well

Other teams should take notice, if it's a disaster then rip it down and start over

Heard Hollins will be available, he is Mayes favorite target so that will be a boost

  • craig44craig44 Posts: 12,670 ✭✭✭✭✭

Vrabel just announced that Carlton Davis will practice to day in a limited capacity. that is one of the final steps to getting cleared. wear the red non-contact jersey today and full participant tomorrow.

Your quoting me from mid to late season lol

I'm beyond cocky about them having a good team now since they are one game away from the Super Bowl

But yes they need to tighten up the turnovers, Maye needs to protect the ball better and Henderson needs to go back to mid season form when he was a threat to score when he got the ball

looking like Carlton Davis will be playing on Sunday. has cleared 4/5 stages of the protocol.

appears that Mack Hollins will not be playing Sunday. they did not open his 3 week window yesterday. speculation i am reading is that this "abdominal" injury could be another sports hernia which he has a history with. if that is the case, his season is over.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

  • craig44craig44 Posts: 12,670 ✭✭✭✭✭

Vrabel is playing with the Broncos. Mack Hollins is practicing today with the full contact white jersey. Dont know if he will be active sunday, but he is practicing.

I have a high level of respect for you for doing that job. I have relatives who worked in a prison down in Connecticut for many years. it is tough work. I have heard lots of horror stories over the years.

I am not sure I have the proper temperment for that career.

The defense is spending too much time on the field because the offense is ineffective. If that does not change, it will break down eventually. One thing for sure, this Denver back-up quarterback is not a stiff.

Bad call takes a touchdown off the board, but the Pats get the score anyway.

Other stuff came up that prevents me from watching the first half. I should hopefully be able to watch some of the second half.

I see it is 7-7. Has the game been a good one so far or has it been lousy?

Denver outplayed New England. the Patriots have 72 yards of offense at half. but a couple of things happened to even the score. Sean Payton pulled a Dan Campbell on 4th and 1 deep in NE territory and ended up with no points. then Stidham turned the ball over deep in his end that resulted in a Pats TD.

if i'm New England, i'm feeling great at half. tied at 7 when it feels like they should be down two scores.

agreed. NE offense has been non existant thus far. very fortunate to be tied up.

Stidham had that one great deep pass. very nicely thrown.

for some reason, "mile high" is NE kryptonite.
