    Brad…

Beautiful ‘65 OPC Aaron. Nice centering w/o image being skewed and colors pop! Congrats…

  • Those look great , especially signed in old school ballpoint! How many do you have in the set so far?

Thank you. I currently have 249 different signed 1961 cards. It is a fun set to work on. I love the legible cursive signatures as well.

Went to the Dallas Card Show over the weekend

Not much in my price range that I was interested in. Did grab these 2 as I am slowly working on a Carlton Fisk Topps run and the Banks I had as a beater as a young collector and has a certain nostalgia to me that is hard to express in words

    That Ernie is FIRE 🔥 🔥 🔥

Thanx Sonny. Centered 52s are hard to come by - been searching for years. I'm not doing the set; only collecting centered 7s - and now the prices have skyrocketed. So my days are numbered buddy.

Another Mantle toughie, this one is signed, sealed and delivered…I’m yours!

1968-70 Mickey Mantle’s Country Cookin’ Postcard (Kneeling)

    This one is killer Tim!

The note that Mantle did is very friendly and his "appreciation" is noteworthy - I think I'd rather display in view the note with his sig vs the front?

    Mike,

The greeting and message on the back of this postcard is printed on; only the signature on the front is legitimate and ‘live ink’ (ballpoint).

(I actually have an unsigned one, too. 😁)

    Ouch! I'm surprised it dropped 2 grades...I could see a 7.

An 8 (OC) does equate to a 6, so they were consistent with their standards.

I might give that card a 7 as well, when a card is centered high and well centered side to side, it still has good eye appeal........to me.

    SWEET!

Not complaining mind you, LOVE THIS, but he looks a bit older than he should for 1955-57? Maybe fighting a hang over? 😉

Been buying more tickets than cards lately. Trying to acquire notable events in Wisconsin. Grabbed this one the other day. Black Sabbath played at the Milwaukee Arena in October, 1980. After a fan hit bassist Geezer Butler in the head with a bottle before the set's third song, Sabbath members left the stage; a riot ensued shortly after. I added a few pictures from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Was that the Dio era? BTW I'm a Dio fan, what a voice!

It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
