When CAC first hit the market I was a skeptic and even peeled off a few stickers. Nowadays I tend to send everything in. But there are a few that have been tried and did not CAC and I still love them. Here’s a couple. Anyone brave enough to show me theirs?

Proof 66+ didn't CAC
Your Chain Cent is a dream coin.
Why doesn't it, along with the half-cent have PCGS information on their PCGS photos?
Rebirth. Renewal. Transformation.
CAC won’t sticker a grease filled die error coin. Also has a 45* rotated reverse die. Proof like in every way. Beautiful coin in hand.
Some of these have and some of these have not been to CAC. But all are w/o a sticker.
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
Here’s a few:
AU58
MS66 (note: poor tv)
MS66RB (note: tv way too dark)
MS65
“The thrill of the hunt never gets old”
PCGS Registry: Screaming Eagles
Copperindian
Retired sets: Soaring Eagles

@Copperindian
For your Bechtler what was the deciding factor on DNPC (did but pass CAC)?
The 1809 cent is an OGH AU55
The chain cent is AU53, here’s that one:

They said it appeared to be “heated”….

Strongly disagree.
I’ve seen a lot of stuff but since when did people go around heating their gold coins.
I haven’t sent this one, but it’s not original enough to pass CAC.
I've posted this a few times, my first big coin. JA thought the mark under RT was tooling but, if not for that, it would have passed.
1837 N-9 NGC MS65BN, submitted but did not get a sticker
Collector of Liberty Seated Half Dimes, including die pairs and die states

Some of my absolute favorite coins in my collection did not pass CAC:
PR64
AU50
XF45
MS64 (was formerly stickered as a 63)
PR64BN
PR65
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Eric - nice ones! I’ll give them my “COP” sticker!

I will also add my “pnies” sticker
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
Did not CAC as a 67.
I've seen worse with a green bean.

I love that 1839 one center (the rest is pretty darned nice to) 👍
This is graded AU-58. It flunked at CAC. If it had not, it I would not own it. It's a 1795 Overton 20, and the finest known by a wide margin. NGC once called it "MS-62" which deserved to flunk if it was submitted, but AU-58?
I don’t see any issues with this as a solid AU58. Love it.

@robec: what was the reasoning? Were they too nice?

Honestly, I didn’t ask. My assumption was that JA is not a fan of the toning.

Who cares? I have a whole file of CAC coins they liked which I don't understand. It's why I started collecting British and Roman coins.
Sent this in. It’s my only non-CAC’d MPL. Also one of my faves. From Gobrecht’s Raisinet and has a look that’s amazing in-hand. I’m assuming JA was not a fan of the toning
Empty Nest Collection
Matt’s Mattes
Walker- not sure if it’s been to CAC. Could use another sticker
$5- failed at CAC
This one hasn’t been to CAC, but I think it has a great shot. Great luster and clean fields.

Tough to get in AU/CAC:
So tough to find with CAC - this is a good looking dollar nevertheless:
Haven't been to cac to my knowledge. It probably won't get a sticker as it doesn't have the original surface they usually go for and some slide marks on the reverse.
@johnny010 I still love that 10$ gold. That is a special coin in so many ways.
Never submitted to CAC, but JA on the CAC forum said the coin is overgraded as a VF30. I agree. Nice coins that are overgraded tend not to sticker.
Graded PCGS VF30. I see it as VF20-25. One of my favorite coins in my collection for its near perfect gray toning and surfaces.
On the other hand, I have a dipped and retoned coin with a small hit in the upper right obverse field that stickered I think because it was undergraded, IMO.
EF40 (IMO) graded as PCGS VF35 with CAC
I suspect this nice 1851 VF35 may not sticker because of overgrading, though I haven't submitted it to CAC yet.
PCGS VF35 - should be VF30 IMO to be conservative and sticker.

IMHO, CAC stickers have nothing to do with how great a coin is. Its more about how accurate or inaccurate is the slab plastic label, CAC stickers are nothing more than a comment on the accuracy of the assigned grade. Almost any coin would green or gold CAC sticker if you stuck them in slab plastic that was 2 grades lower.

Rarity7 has a new youtube where he unveils these in the 20 to 30 range. JA wants full Liberty for 25 and up.

I quite like this 45 trumpet tail S dime. Value-wise it's not really worth sending to CAC. Also, though it's well disguised by the toning, there's an east/west scratch running from Liberty's ear across the back of her head, which would probably keep the coin from meriting a bean.
PCGS 64 but to me it looks 65.
Scratching my head a lot, but in honesty we are looking at photos while cac was looking at all of them in hand, and that will make a considerable difference
I did see a coin with VF35 wear in an EF40 holder with CAC recently on the boards here. I'm not going to hunt it down, but was struck by the VF35 wear on the coin. Otherwise, the coin was nice with beautiful toning.
@billjones this kind of thing is a big reason I also moved away from collecting US coins. But world gold is the most interesting thing to happen to my collection in a long time, so I can't be too unhappy about it.
AU-58 NGC. I have to assume that it’s been to CAC, but it’s a great fit for my set that is CAC-58 for the p-mints and a really nice looking 38-c in terms of strike, luster and color.
