We'll catch you up on Boxing day!
Now if everyone bought silver instead of Chinese fireworks .... it wouldn't smell so bad in the city.
I would rather buy silver.

Me too. Just had a young teen in the shop a few days ago. I asked if he had any silver. He said he spent his money on fireworks. I asked how much he spent on fireworks this year. . He answered with a gulp : "about $900.00 ".
Wow. Fireworks are pretty expensive. I just let the town do fireworks and I sit and watch for free.

He should save some of that money to buy hearing aids when he gets older.

Kennedys are my quest...
During the mid 60s, as a kid, 4th of July was a big picnic….the highlight was a very elderly great uncle who was a Veteran of the Spanish American War, “Faff” was his name, he would dress in his very hot looking tight uniform, and fire a few shots with his .45/70. Great Guy,

Reminded me of “Rulers”.
You know: they don’t make 12” rulers any longer.
