An assertion that woman who sells herbs from Mexico in North Carolina is not white contains a flaw or two.
If we need an ism, it’s newmismaticism.

Lol. Welcome to academia where we now have two DIFFERENT definitions of what our means to be "non-white". Both, by the way, include Latinx.

You may note that generally questions about ethnicity do not say "white". They say "white, not of Hispanic/Latino origin".

And I think this is already farther down this rabbit hole than we should venture based on my joke.

It appears I'm not going to get a second. Lol

I am not averse to what this guy does. I remind you of my own line of grading services at the Buckhorn Flea Market in Mebane, NC next to the señora who sells cooking herbs from Guanajuato.

¡Pronto llega el sevicio de pegatina de frijole verde!

I move that this post be removed as racist. Second?

    Now it’ll get closed.

Having fun while switching things up and focusing on a next level PCGS slabbed 1950+ type set, while still looking for great examples for the 7070.

The more humble version appeared after he was humbled on the forum. Anyone who finds those videos compelling and buys something from the kid deserves what they get. There's nothing criminal about being a confident neophyte.

Yep. It's a low information kid with a YT channel trying to get views. Not some mastermind con artist.
This thread already has way more bandwidth than it deserves.

I'm shocked this thread is still going on and yes the coins were pregraded but I plan on sending them back in through pcgs. And although some of you say the conversation I had with stacks bowers is unbelievable it is true. That is what led me to crack out some coins. Pls tell me how to close this thread its going on too long with no relevance to the initial question.

I've warned you many times that nobody's gonna take you seriously unless you make a step towards improving your character. It's clear that you're not listening to any of our advice, and since you aren't, we're gonna keep laughing at this ridiculous situation. This is unbelievably funny, but if I were a clueless buyer that got a coin from you I wouldn't find it so funny.

Also the Stacks story is not true. Own up to it dude.

Stacks story is true. Plus I am taking all the advice besides for taking down the website and youtube because I still do want to make a good grading company it will just take a bit.

Come on, it does not matter If you really, wholeheartedly wanted to be a serious grading service as that is out of the question now. Due to the fact that you ruined any chance of it being taking seriously by putting up a facade and lying. You say you're trying to improve but you are keeping and attaching the "BRAND" you "made" to the things that will hold you down. Again, I wish you luck but that won't mean anything if you don't start over and truly try to learn instead of making a quick buck.👌

Grading companies started out first as authentication concerns, correct me if I'm wrong. Also the way they are set up, unbiased, several graders looking at each coin then a finalizer, no favoritism, complete objectivity is the aim, with a guarantee behind the coin in the holder. The two top ones and the others all have that. Consumer rights have evolved substantially over the years and credibility requires a good track record. PCGS will sometimes cross non-NGC coins at grade or even a bump, so you could try that. Unless you have tens of thousands of hours grading coins like most of the graders it is just foolhardy to do what the true professionals are competent at.

The founders of PCGS and CAC are/were the Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant of Numismatics.

How many hours do you think they practiced alone for every game played?

Having @MFeld take an interest in you is like Scottie Pippen helping you with your jump shot.

Not sure your end game, but your videos prove you are no dummy.

You keep saying the dealer said this... Stacks said that.

If the goal is strict profits then until you are the the expert in for your particular series of choice... you are just fresh meat. Roadkill.

Don't make a purchase unless you know the expected raw grade, cracked out grade, any condition issues, and value, and expected net once all grading and ebay/auction, shipping and original price is deducted.

I had to get a raw grade on a nice coin in a holder from Q. David Bowers grading company that he sold the assets to PCGS, at least PCGS was nice enough to accept the slab and then bust it out for free. ;)

Young man, do you recall me saying you need to crawl before you walk, and you’re trying to run, and all you’ll do is fall and bump your head? Well your figurative dome is starting to swell up like a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day balloon from the impacts and the colors of your bruises are starting to look like fine toning.

The stacks story is not true. It is hilariously fake. Now obviously for a 17 year old you must have a decent income stream to afford some of these coins at your age (especially the 1 oz gold you show off on your channel) assuming you didn't inherit or steal them. However, grading companies have to have very expensive equipment like metals verifiers as well as many high end coins to use as references for grading. Not to mention all of the legal work needed to register a company.

Forget about being a coin dealer, forget about being a pro grader, forget about all of that for now. Take everyone else's advice and use this time to actually learn about coins.

He said he Alabama. The 1945 "FB" merc to Stack's who confirmed it was FB.

Personally, I don't know who works the counter at Stack's, so it is actually not impossible. We also don't know the exact wording of the conversation. "Could be..." "Looks like..." "As close as I've seen..." are very different than "Definitely FB, would you like to sell or consign?"

The actual conversation at Stacks was: "Kid, if this dime is full band, I'm the King of England." He replied " Thank you your majesty.", then went home and started his very own grading company with the 1945 MS66FB being the first coin graded. Everyone lived happily ever after.

As I say, we don't know the exact words. Lol.

So he has claimed recently on this forum that he is 17. Yet a year ago on his YouTube channel he said he is 19. So are you 17, 20, or neither?

Curious if he ever made it to the Dedham, MA Coin Show, where he claimed he paid $ 65.00 for a table.

If you read that YouTube exchange it seems that the other poster was skeptical about Finn's age and things weren't adding up.

    The subterfuge deepens....

I am 17 the reason I said 19 was because you need to say you're 18 to have a youtube channel. Everyone here is acting like im a james bond villian and a master con artist. It's kind of funny. I think I am going to leave the forum because it is more of an annoyance than a help.

Not true. You can have a YouTube channel with parent permission for ages 13-17. You do need to be 18 to monetize your videos for YouTube to pay you revenue.

If he leaves us for another forum...

Lose the grading company and the hubris.

Many cross populate and you will be discovered.

    Reinvent yourself.
