03/15/2024 was my last day in the workforce. Our financial guy said we were more than ready to go. So now maybe more vacations around coin shows? Who knows? Either way, looking forward to this new chapter in my life.
This was one of my last purchases before retirement. Really like the colors on the Morgans within this double coin holder. It's a nicely matched pair.

It's a melancholy moment, to be sure.
On the one hand it is like Christmas morning and yet on the other
it is a bit difficult to separate your idenity from your profession.
Good luck with it all!
It does sound like you're on a healthy track.

My “re-retirement” date was Feb 23, as I went back to my old company in another role for 24 months, for something to do, more or less.
Congratulations! Enjoy!

Congrat's Erik! Good luck with the next chapter.
Am hoping to close out the year in somewhat the same way ... although I suspect it'll be "semi" retirement.

Are you kidding me?!?!
I want that Indian before I retire!
Yep, enjoy life but do keep busy. I retired back in 2010 and enjoy everyday. I have two hobbies, coins and old Remingtons. Don't know which I like better but it is easier to sell the coins.
Wife and I take 4 vacations a year, one for each season.

I'm another that could retire any time now, but wouldn't know what else to do. So, I'll be pulling a paycheck for awhile.

Congratulations! It's so great not having to go into work everyday. I still do a little consulting for coin money and get to spend much time doting on my grandkids. I know you're going to love itl! Peace, brother!

True statement. I was wondering myself after 37 years of flying, would I miss it. Three years and three months later, nope.

Welcome to the weird hobby years. Here's a low value Morgan that I like that I inherited from my Uncle Joe. I knick-named it ''Purple Haze''. Someday my kids will have to figure out what to do with it.
Congratulations!
That’s a BIG deal!
I’m into my own retirement over three years now. Time has flown!
It’s great being able to pursue other passions, sleep in, and catch up on reading all those books and magazines I’ve been hauling around for years ;-).
More time to mess around with coins too!
