Only two coins in this series. The first is a wonderful wholesome example: https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1096106/oldest-us-half-newp#latest
The final piece is the Y over Star variety - you can see the remains of two rays near the Y - and has very nice eye appeal.
I like the obverse design more each time I look at these two half dollars; it has an elegance that may be overlooked.

One of my favorite designs. CCAC should be embarrassed. It is a singular Liberty depiction that was barely used. For them to consider it old-fashioned makes me wonder if there are any artists on the committee.
Those are two beauties!
A two date series, yes... but I hate to break it to you but you're only getting started. Can't wait to see your complete Overton collection next!
Lovely coin. You have excellent eye for quality.

Wholesome indeed and your previously posted 1794 makes a wonderful paired set of Flowing Hair halves.
Splendid color and tone on that irrefutably original example.

A wonderful example to go with your superb 1794!
What a beautiful piece of numismatic history. Absolutely gorgeous. Congrats on the pickup. Whatever happened to the Robert Scot's of the world. All our coinage today seems to be designed by the Scott Adams style cartoonists. And just when we thought some artistry was coming back they jerk it away. Our coinage designs are laughable at best today. So Sad. Just an opinion.

They don't make 'em (beautiful) like they use to.
Lovely example and distinctively cool variety.
Love this coin.
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
I'll update my last post to say that coin is drop dead gorgeous!
