Couple cards for the Griffey collection.
Pretty amazing on the back of the card that it forecasted him ending up with a projected career total of 630 home runs which is the exact number he finished with, although many Griffey fans like myself had hoped he would pass Hank first on the career home run list.

Guess that was a super stat! I would have liked to see him pass Hank too, but his body was saying otherwise.

If you are in the market for one of these, be careful, PSA has graded several regular cards as "Glossy".
Kind of amazing that can happen since it is about the easiest glossy set of the 80's to determine which is glossy and which isn't. The blue back Collector's edition should be a dead giveaway.
Picked this up this evening at auction. Seems to be a theme with 56 Topps pickups in the last month with the 56 Mantle and Robinson earlier this month.

KC,
Nice Ted W. What's keeping that only a 3?
Not sure. Won it last night and when I get it in hand will let you know. I think it is something on the possibly. That saved me about $4-5k going for an 8.
Two more checked off the NFL HoF rookies set. Now down to just 4 left. Anyone have a 1935 National Chicle Bronco Nagurski they want to trade for a case of beer?

Not really a new pickup, but finally got my sub back from PSA last week. This was a PSA 4 crack out before getting it signed.
Beautiful lower grade card to get auto'd and great signature. Nice job on that one.

Always nice to get a 5 misguided as a 3, unless there is a crease somewhere I can't see. Great pickup !

I remember my parents bought Post Cereal in the early 1960s…and my brother and I enjoyed collecting our first baseball cards from cereal boxes.
What good times! Reading off the back of the cereal box while my Dad would read the paper.
Successful coin BST transactions with Gerard and segoja.
Successful card BST transactions with cbcnow, brogurt, gstarling, Bravesfan 007, and rajah 424.

I have a bunch of Red Sox Topps 1952 - 1956 PSA graded PSA 5's and I think they don't half as good as those cards do. Very sad those cards look much better then the grade.
One of my favorite 90's Griffey inserts! Toughest insert ratio of any insert in 1994 Flair. This set highlighted ten of the game's top defensive players. The set was notable for employing a die-cut "glove" design, which was revolutionary for the time and is the foundational inspiration for all die-cut cards in The Hobby today.

Picked this one up today. Love this set. The Jordan will be a hard get bit the rest of the set looks doable.
Addition to a registry set I just started. The "Top POP" set. The set is comprised of the most graded Ken Griffey Jr. card from every year he played.

Met a great fellow collector at the National, when he heard I was a Killebrew collector, he sent me a piece of artwork he had made up. No charge?
Here soon is my 2nd year Ron Cey O-Pee-Chee. Was looking for a nicer one, but boy they get pricey.
Ebay just authenticated it, so not in hand yet, but on the way.
