The show starts 6 weeks from today.
This year the ANA will be held in Pittsburgh August 8-12. There are four levels of bourse tables.
Ultra-Premium Sold out
Premium 3 tables left
Select 17 Tables left
Economy 7 tables left
The Foreign and Ancient section which has tables in all four levels is sold out.
There is also one table available in the World Mint section and four Club tables available.

Twelve of the available tables are corner booths with a larger rental fee.
The show was a sellout last year. I am thinking it will be like 2021 and not be a sellout this year.

Either way,I am greatly looking forward to the show.

I hope it sells out. More coins for me to look at if it does. I’m planning to be there Wed-Fri.

I am thinking it will sell out. There may be some fence sitters doing the Dalton show the week before who will want to commit to the show. The show is a full week commitment, but is one show you have to do if you do shows with any significant inventory. (Also is good for acquiring some nice pieces.) The January FUN and August ANA WFoM are still important shows. Many regional shows seem to be struggling and need to add sports cards and other hobbies to fill out their bourses; but not those two. But there could be a difference for some regarding Pittsburgh vs Chicago.

I believe it will sell out.

Not really relevant in the sense that tables can be added. Subtracted etc. What is better indication is sheer number of actual tables sold. Ex. I have 500 tables available and sold 400. Oh my not a sellout how awful. Or same show I sold 250 tables that where available what a great show. At the end of the day. It’s how many tables actually sold

Very slow rentals the last two weeks. Only 2 tables rented this week.

This was a good week for bourse table rentals. Looks like 6-7 tables were rented. Only 19 tables left.

Another good week for table rentals. 5 were rented this week plus the U.S. Mint finally took a booth. Only 14 tables left to rent.

If Florida FUN is an indication, they will definitely be all sold out. Anyone sitting on the sidelines will be missing out.

With that said, I’ll be there as a consumer.

Is this held at the same place as the PAN show?

No, PAN show is held at a smaller venue in Monroeville (about 15 miles east of the city). Nice regional show. A little
more than 100 tables. ANA is at the David Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. Much larger venue.

Another good week for table rentals. 7 more were rented and only 7 more left to rent.

Are all the recommended hotels sold out ? I got mine about a month ago.

Four Select and two Economy remain (all in the same bourse neighborhood). Also two open Club tables. If it does not sell out, it will be very close.

I may as well open a HELOC before I go up to Pittsburgh.

They will have to fill my usual table for this year only -- I have a conflict that I have been trying to resolve for half a year but it just won't happen. I never expected to miss both FUN (thanks Southwest Air) and the ANA in the same year.

Only one dealer table left. The two club tables are still open.

  • goldengolden Posts: 9,795 ✭✭✭✭✭

It was a good week with 6 tables rented. Someone rent that last table!

    SOLD OUT

  • goldengolden Posts: 9,795 ✭✭✭✭✭

I think it is shaping up to be a great show. I am ready to go!

  • alefzeroalefzero Posts: 993 ✭✭✭✭✭

It is my understanding that folks might want to pack umbrellas for next week there.

I was told by a reliable source that the Summer FUN Show sold out and had to turn away 35 dealers for lack of space.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

As wonderful as Summer FUN was, I was unable to find anything to buy within my specific needs of high grade and wonderfully toned Mercury Dimes. I hope ANA will be more productive! Fingers crossed.

Glad to see this news. I've been a member 40+ years. I've attended
several summer and a few fall conventions. Always like the Rosemont
venue. To all who attend: VIYA CON DIOS.

Last time I attended ANA show in Pittsburg I had run for my life from a mugger chasing me cooming back to the hotel
From a ballgame! DO NOT GO OUT AT NIGHT around the convention hotel!!
