Four-year Anniversary on the Forum!

KliaoKliao Posts: 5,608 ✭✭✭✭✭

Wow, it's been 4 years. Took a little break this past week and totally forget that I've been here for 4 years. As many know, I started university last fall, so I've become more of a lurker, just reading the forum and less posting as a couple have noticed. Still here learning from all you guys :)

Thanks for another great year.

Post a coin with a 4 for my 4th year here.

My favorite pickup the past year and just so happens to have a 4 as well.

It actually has two 4's since it's actually 42/41. Check the 4 under magnification and you'll see doubling in the 4.

Your right. It left my mind when I posted the picture. The label says 1942/1 so I guess that was what I was thinking when I wrote it.

PCGS Coin Facts has a great close-up pic of the date which really shows the doubling of the 4.

Happy 4th year here @Kliao Good to see you put up a post!

Are you through with your Freshman year already?! WooHoo!! Seems like yesterday you were still a Junior ... in High School!!

    Yeah, time really flies :)

Hey @Kliao , congratulations, but you know the rule - on one’s 4th Anniversary, you have to have a nice giveaway!

Here’s a nice coin with a 4. While many high grade red IHC’s in the 1900’s are bright and flashy, here’s one that’s 40 years older than those that’s blinding in hand (with die clashes). I warn friends to put on sunglasses before looking at it, lol. In your honor:

    Steve

I see you put up a nice coin for me to give away ;)
Beautiful coin as always. Really do need sunglasses to look at that one B)
