And another bad coin/ PCGS cert to be concerned about…

I realize I am like the grim reaper of the coin Hobby, but as long as the Chinese company is able to continue to do business there is no end in sight for these…
Now an 1872 Liberty Seated Dollar; current Bay listing will undoubtedly be removed but that doesn’t end the problem:
Cert has a good on-line image- swing and a miss!
Web site has changed its name 3 times since I started reporting it as a “sponsored” add on Face Book:

At least it doesn't state "Morgan" under the grade.

I thought that was the RARE 1872 No Motto Seated Dollar!
Here's the full-size TrueView. Hard to miss the Motto!
I really see just two ways of something like this stopping:
Also, you're not really the grim reaper to me as there's a very simple solution that you just proved, which is to buy coins with TrueViews. When I buy slabbed coins, I almost only buy coins with TrueViews, even the following which I picked up. See more coins in this thread:

An interesting situation with this coin is that it's a Gold Shield coin with a TrueView and it's a in user's registry set, so if the cert number is taken down, there could be lot of disruption to many more coins down the road.
It will be interesting to see what happens here.
Here's the Cert Verification link:

It looks like they are randomly grabbing photos and assembling them together, all for the low price of $19.99.
The page comes across as one for West Coast Coins:
https://www.westcoastcoinsoregon.com/
Lots of logos being used in the West Coast Coins banner including PCGS, NGC, and CAC. The following image is the actual image on that page.
It comes across like a marketplace that's being used by West Coast Coins. Looks like a Heritage and PCGS CoinFacts photo.
The image with two photos is the CoinFacts photo for this coin:

^truth^ the only way to go, especially for the beginner in a series. I think I know Lincoln cents pretty well but don't know much of anything about Liberty Seated dollars, making me a beginner in that series. If I want a PCGS certified Seated Dollar for my collection it's going to have a Trueview. End of story.

You aren't like the grim reaper to me. I am glad to see your work. The grim reaper I dont want to see. Keep up the great work you do. Its appreciated 😀

The 4th prong inside the slab is a nice touch.

@burfle23 I appreciate your determination. We all benefit from this project. Did you do a whois on that email address calabash@calabashboys.com? DHS-US Customs enforcement is supposed to be interested in this type crime. Peace Roy

They are aware along with Doug Davis and the ACEF.
Unfortunately they just keep coming from the Chinese seller- latest...
Nice catch on the 1872 Seated Dollar.
I just noticed that their review is from none other than Jeff Garrett.
I wonder how knowledgable about coins these people are.
My comment was pending and then removed...
I noticed that your profile isn't verified![:D :D](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Given that these are legal in their country of manufacture, can DHS-US Customs do anything to stop the seller, or can they only stop the importers?
In the absence of changing the situation in the manufacturing country, can more can be done by focusing on identifying the importers and highlighting the consequences of importing?
They gave me another chance...
