Took some fight, but I prevailed. Had to have this one.
It checks off the three main criteria I was after:
(1) Straight-graded.
(2) 1700s-dated.
(3) CircCam contrast and nice eye appeal.
This is now the most expensive coin I have owned in 46 years of collecting.

In my 46 years collecting, I’ve owned only one other, in the early 2000s. It was an 1800 in ANACS VG8. Straight graded, but of only neutral eye appeal.

Congrats! I know exactly how elated you must be feeling right about now. Theres is something very special about "17" dates, and that is a lovely, wholesome coin that will bring you joy for years to come. Im waiting for the arrival of my recent 1799 purchase 🤫, and the suspense is killing me!

This is the first piece of 1700s US silver I have owned. Previously, it's just been coppers.
You did good, uber nice, and well graded at 30.
I've owned half a dozen clunker cars that cost less than this coin!
