Like I told this guy you don’t clearly see the one stamped on the coin along with a bar through Lincoln’s head that’s not a post mint error it’s nearly impossible the amount of force it takes to make an impression like that is difficult but I was crazy cause a obverse and reverse never appear on a coin yet there’s so much proof through history of off center double stamped coins how is it not possible this coin was struck got flipped and restruck with the reverse of the bottom of the penny dye we have capped dye errors all the time merely it stuck got flipped then restruck??

    >

I had to highlight something that you guys all seemed to miss amongst all the fun about dye'ng in his post ...

Post Mint Error ... hmmmm ... Freudian slip? Maybe not, since he prefaced it with a not

Post Mint does not equal Error

    ;):p:D

You need to curb your anger and listen to people who know what they are talking about. This, I promise, will help you more than you ever thought possible.

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

It seems that wheelguy93 has decided to not post again to this thread.

I was hoping that he would give an update telling us that he is submitting his Lincoln cent to be graded (has anyone new to the Forums claiming that they have found a valuable error coin ever submitted same for grading?; if so what was the result?).

I was hoping he'd post again... I have a theory as to how the impression could have been made in an automated coin sorter or a Coinstar machine if two Lincoln Cents entered the wheel together on the edge, and one for superimposed onto the other. Then, it's just one more sorter away from being put into a bank roll... just a thought...

Once again - this forum is where modern mint "errors" come to die.

I have lost count of them in just the past few months.

Yep, you showed a video with legitimate errors, but yours is completely different. As stated, Fred Weinberg is a former PCGS error expert, so yes, he has authenticated plenty of genuine errors. Other very prominent numismatists have also given their opinion in this thread, and so far it is unanimous. Send it off to PCGS, then come back and laugh all you want.

@wheelguy93 - identifying errors is one of the more advanced skillsets in the hobby. It’s difficult as a new collector to identify errors and be able to describe how they occurred at the Mint. YouTube is generally a poor resource for learning about coins with a few exceptions. While people here may be rude at times, many of them are the foremost experts in coins. Your reaction to their opinions is a bit like telling Tom Brady that he doesn’t know how to play football because you watched a video on YouTube.

Here are some rare cents i found while exploring the lost city of Atlantis. I have my own submarine because im super rich. Im sending them to pcgs and when they come back verified real, you guys will be crying.

I see a white shark head with an eye on the side looking down and sharp upper teeth biting the head of an Atlantean girl with two eyes at the top of this coin, so it must be real.
