I enjoy the effort you all put in with your dick beaters to make a fake that’s comical that first guy must of used his mouse hand cause he didn’t beat it very well but thanks for the input everyone. cause never in history has the mint ever released any restruck off center misshaped or even capped dye coins every error coin in existence can be counterfeited! An admin or moderator can gladly delete this post! Obviously Im wrong cause something can be duplicated but not done by a machine that spits out millions of errors a year
Aw, now he's all wounded. It is obvious to anyone who actually knows how real errors are created that the piece in question is NOT an error. What you have is a really poor vise job-someone even showed you how it was done. There are tons of these floating around created by people who are either bored or out to fool the gullible into thinking they are real error coins. A genuine flipover double strike coin would not look like the coin in question. Spit, sputter, get all butthurt all you want, but that's the reality. If you are so convinced that you're right, put your money where your big mouth is and send it in to a grading service.
Guys like this seem to be coming out of the woodwork more and more. We are getting more phone calls and/or seeing it in our store more often of late. Every time some random nimrod with a camera and an opinion makes a new video talking about "errors"...all of a sudden everyone who sees a nick, mar, or scratch on something thinks they have a rarity worth big bucks and they come to sites like this one seeking validation. When they aren't being told what they want to hear, they get butthurt and lash out. Get ready for more of this stuff.
Hey @ifthevamzarockin!!!! #1 rule. Never make an error from a real mint error! It looked like a nice spiked head, if you like that kind of thing. 😂 😂 👍🏻

Yep keeps getting worse and worse, I see this on the NGC forum but at about 10X more often than here. While folks are correct when they say send it to PCGS, the reality is that will only create more unhappiness as peeps like the op will then only be angry about how PCGS stole their money, swapped the coin and/or lied to them.

Let me give you some good advice.
These guys are good. They are veterans of the hobby. You can either except what they tell you as the truth or fight it.
Why humiliate yourself any further. I myself have been taught a few lessons here myself.
The difference I believe is that you have no serious desire to stay in this hobby.
If you have doubts about the answers you are given be respectful and ask for more information.
I do it all the time but I don't disrespect people.
Seems like you've crossed the line or the point of no return.
Good luck finding what you want to hear. You've already been told the facts.
What the heck, I will chime in and agree with the OP.
His coin is a mint error.
Anyone who disagrees with him is just wrong.
There is no need to have the coin submitted to a TPG for straight grading as an error. The status of this coin as an error is simply one of those truths that are self evident.
Astute, nuanced, refined, cutting edge error dealers and collectors will (after learning about the existence of the OP's coin) be clamoring for it. Such persons are connoisseurs (one who understands the details, technique, or principles of an art and is competent to act as a critical judge) whose ability to perceive and understand is far beyond the abilities of those countless persons who simply do not measure up.
In the near future there will be at least two such persons (maybe more), possessed of vastly deep pockets, that will vigorously pursue the acquisition of this fine numismatic treasure from the OP.
Perhaps even the curators of the National Numismatic Collection will seek to obtain the OP's error so that it can be enjoyed by millions of visitors each year (this error coin could very likely spark a numismatic renaissance that will sweep the nation, the likes of which have never, ever, ever been seen before). Perhaps all local, state and federal governments can jointly pool their vast resources (assets and income) to fund an effort to acquire the OP's coin for the public, in perpetuity.
The forthcoming huge interest in and the huge demand for this error coin will provide to the OP confirmation, validation, self esteem, self worth and a warm fuzzy feeling of euphoria; and will also allow the OP to say his noble "Quixotic" quest (to have his coin recognized as an error) was not one where he is titling at windmills.
To the OP, please, please, please stick around and share with us on the US Coin Forums each and every detail about your continued ownership and possession of your priceless error zinc Lincoln cent. I for one wait breathlessly for continued updates. The prospect of you finding other such errors and bringing them to the attention of forum members leaves me tingling with excitement.

Think of "nor" as "or" for negative sentences, and it's not optional. Use "nor" before the second or farther of two alternatives when "neither" introduces the first.

I will say this, if this 1970 D is yours then you have a true error coin and I say congrats. But before you waste your time and perhaps funds, read through this and then read one of the books dedicated to the minting process, step by step. Be sure to understand the difference between a coin being struck by a die and one pressed against another coin. Good luck.

Like I told this guy you don’t clearly see the one stamped on the coin along with a bar through Lincoln’s head that’s not a post mint error it’s nearly impossible the amount of force it takes to make an impression like that is difficult but I was crazy cause a obverse and reverse never appear on a coin yet there’s so much proof through history of off center double stamped coins how is it not possible this coin was struck got flipped and restruck with the reverse of the bottom of the penny dye we have capped dye errors all the time merely it stuck got flipped then restruck??

@wheelguy93 ... welcome to the Forum. I'm not going to pile on here but my first impression was PMD. You've heard from @FredWeinberg ... who literally wrote the book on error coins... https://books.google.com/books/about/The_Error_Coin_Encyclopedia.html?id=9HryPwAACAAJ
... as well as other industry leaders... @ctf_error_coins and @seanq ... I'm not an error expert and I'm still learning, but I know enough to put my trust in the people who do.
If you still think otherwise, my only suggestion is to sent the coin off to our hosts for certification and authentication.
Best of luck in all your future endeavors...
