I was surprised that Andy Skrabaiak's name was nowhere to be found?

Not a bad list, but my own personal "most influential people" would include many others. Mark Feld, Larry Shapiro, John Agre, Bonnie Sabel, Glen Holsonbake, Larry Shepard, James Sego, Harry Laibstain, and of course Charmy Harper come to mind.
I suppose we all have our own personal "universe" of most influential people.
Dang they missed me again!
I think you have to have some of the COLLECTORS there. Even if anonymous, they have a huge impact with their purchases of trophy coins and registry sets.
Congrats to our own forum members!
Here's who I know in alphabetical order by handle:
Congrats to @tradedollarnut @DLHansen and @Dwight_M!
Bruce Morelan! D.L. Hansen!

Last year after the results came out I posted regarding my disappointment that so many current NGC staffers filled spots on this limited list. I got bashed, and that’s ok. While no doubt some of those deserved being on the list, it had the appearance that many NGC collectors responded to an NGC email asking for their votes. While something like this would not be against the rules, it resulted in EIGHT NGC staffers making the list. Maybe once again I’m going to get bashed?

Love the researchers and authors on the list!
Yes, they deserve a LOT of credit!

It's amazing that 5 of the 7 PCGS co-founders are on the list this year!
Two others that had prominent roles at PCGS include:
Yes, over a 37 year period or so, we can look back and realize the impact and positive influence they’ve had on our hobby.

I love how Bob Evans, Chief Scientist, is on the list. How many other scientists are there in the hobby?

There are many 'missing' numbers on that list posted by @DeplorableDan ... Where are they or who are they?? Cheers, RickO

Joey Janosic, the friend who got me started collecting at age eight, and Ron Wise, the owner of the shop we used to visit. Nobody on the "list" or mentioned in this thread can even touch their influence on me collecting.
I think this is the electronic book for it.

@lilolme.... Thank you... I will keep that and browse it. However, that still does not explain the missing numbers in the listing pages. Cheers, RickO
Those are page numbers not rankings (see P.4 Editor’s Letter)- but that is confusing
@Floridafacelifter... Thank you, that makes sense... Don't know why I did not see that
Cheers, RickO
1960-2020?
Well, this is one list I'm NOT on.
"It's like God, Family, Country, except Sticker, Plastic, Coin."
Well, me for one. What is your point?
Not from me.
Keeper of the VAM Catalog • Professional Coin Imaging • Prime Number Set • World Coins in Early America • British Trade Dollars • Variety Attribution
Miles Standish…top ten, really??
Latin American Collection
All good picks… I won’t delve into the minutiae of trying to rank them relative to each other.
The list has numismatists, dealers, collectors, and it's great to have people engaged numismatic science as well to further our knowledge in different areas.
While mainly known as a coin dealer, Rick Snow, the world's foremost authority of Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents, has authored several books. His widely sold 3rd Edition of the Flying Eagle and Indian Cent Attribution Guide is used as the "Bible" by collectors and other numismatic researchers as well.
