I was there as a kid on vacation, took the tour and loved every minute of it.

The biggest disappointment was that I wanted to buy a proof set in the souvenir shop as we left. Alas, it was 1965 and no proof sets were made so I left with an SMS set instead (of course, neither was made in Denver).

Been there at least twice, if not three times. Took my family through the tour back in '93. I don't recall them having much for sale with Denver mintage so I ended up purchasing that year's Prestige Silver Proof S mint as a momento of the visit. My parents took us through the tour once or twice when we would visited Denver for vacations.

I used to have this problem on a few things. Then started to have some occasional websites that didn't load completely correct (some photos or logos would be a square with ? in them or something else). My computer was old and no longer getting updates and I could not update with the new version as it would state my system would not support. Finally got a new computer as the other one was 12 years old. I could have downloaded Chrome or another browser and probably survived for many more years but the new computer had other upgrades also. Anyway if your computer is older and not updated or at least browser not updated then this could be the problem. if not, then I don't know and forget all this. :)

PS - With those black squares I could click on them and copy the photo and paste it elsewhere and it would show up. :)

I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.

@OAKSTAR that is a great looking example! Didn't know the secret service would do that.

The Secret Service destroyed some 1969-S DDO cents sent them for authentication claiming that they must be counterfeit since they were doubled. Never send a coin for authentication to any government agency for authentication. Use one of the major grading services for authentication.

I always liked this coin in an older NGC slab. It has a real nice glow to it.

I got it from someone I trusted and that person said he got from someone he trusted. That person said it was cancelled by the Secret Service. However, at this point there's really no way to know for sure.
