Dan, I’m not going to congratulate you on your thousandth post. But that’s only because, as far as I’m concerned, it’s not nearly as significant as…
You’ve set a wonderful example for others in reading, asking questions, soaking up knowledge, interacting in a friendly and straight forward manner with numerous collectors and dealers, your enthusiasm, expressions of gratitude, helping others and displaying an open mind and great attitude. It’s obvious that you’ve come a long way and that you’ve been having a lot of fun, while doing so. Wishing you much continued enjoyment.

Dan,
Congrats on achieving your 1000th post. Thank you for your contributions to the forum. I'm entering for my 11-year-old grandson Levi. Thank you for the opportunity.
Your contributions are always well taken and we are delighted you have reached the 1000 post level. I would love to win any one of the three for my granddaughter who is six years old. She has already been gifted a number of coins and I look forward to the day that I can explain them to her.
Dan, Congrat's on 1000 posts and being around for a year and a half. You are worthwhile addition to this forum, and I know I am glad to have you here.
What a great giveaway. Since I'm not sure my Grandson is a Numismatist yet (he hasn't turned one yet) ... I'll enter my favorite nephew, just in case you pull my name. He has coins I have given him over the years and I was surprised (and heart warmed) when he showed them to me this Christmas, and asked me some serious (and somewhat educated) questions about coins in general and what he had. Pretty neat to think I sparked a long term interest.
“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”

This is NOT an entry, but thank you for the opportunity of a VERY generous offer.
Congratulations to you on your 1,000th post. However, just as you’ve benefitted, we have too, from your insights, wisdom, and well-thought out opinions!
You always impress me with your high quality style of writing!
From reading your posts, we recognize you are relatively new to our wonderful hobby. I’ve really enjoyed your posts in watching your numismatic knowledge grow, your enthusiasm, and the positive way you treat people, especially on the rare occasions if you happen to disagree. You have a very Positive attitude and you are a Positive asset to this forum and the numismatic community!
Thank YOU, and continued success in this hobby and in life!

But he said it's been about a year and a half. I think 1000 posts in that time period is deplorable!
