Should be a sell-out, just like the previous 4, even with a $15 per medal price increase to $175. Max mintage stays the same, 10k
I'm in for one
I'm all for supporting my US Army, but $175 is a little much for 2.5oz of silver.

I'll wait for the 1 oz issue
Nice design reverse and obverse.
We’ve been enrolled for the 1 oz and glad we are getting them. The design transfers well from 2.5 to the one oz size and it’s not the hit to the monthly budget.

At first I thought it was interesting, but given another look I see more PC Mint nonsense, Specifically, why did they have to give the infantryman braids? Is that indicative of what most soldiers look like now? Of course not. I served in Iraq, and we all had shaved heads. Not trying to be divisive here or hijack the thread, but they took a good idea did what they always do.

And what is this supposed to be?
Looks like some ethnic costume underneath the guidons. Just weird

I agree, and I work for the Army (civilian). $175 for $50-ish worth of silver? I don't mind a premium for what is essentially silver bullion, but I will have to pass on those.

Yeah, but look beneath the rifle! It's already marked as CAC approved!

Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you sumthin' . . . . that ain't no optical illusion, it only looks like an optical illusion.
My mind reader refuses to charge me....
D0es any of the cost/profit go to the Army?
Agree, it's pricey, but still cheaper, per oz, than the 1 oz version. Get used to higher US Mint silver prices, they ain't coming down
That’s the US Army flag!
The flag was officially adopted by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on June 12, 1956, via Executive Order 10670.

I will be buying the medal as part of the series. Yes, it is pricy, but so is everything else these days.

Ha ha, I never noticed that... Well, say again...what is this? A dress? Looks like some cocktail waitress' wardrobe

Ya, that's why I haven't bought from the mint since 2021.

I pass on this one. I bought the Navy and Marine issues in 2022, but did not buy the 2021 issues and will not buy the 2023 issues. Too much money out the door.
To serve the Marines drinks in...
But seriously, I'm sure someone with some expertise in heraldry will come by and point out the significance of each part. I'd be interested in the breakdown of flag.

The rifle used by the modern soldier is a travesty. It’s not a real firearm. It’s like something that would be drawn by a child who was trying to draw an M4 carbine.
I heard the army hands out a medal for throwing a hand grenade. If true very hard to comprehend. Semper!!!
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Bottom soldier should’ve been something cooler like a SEAL with like night vision goggles.
The guidon is really cool, though.
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
Actually, it's for accuracy with throwing the hand grenade. Allons!

A seal is Navy
🤦🏼♂️
Green beret then.

Not one I will add to my collection... Navy, yes...
Though I am not a fan of the 'woke' intrusion into the coin designs, any of them. Cheers, RickO

Nice to see CAC advertising on the obv.
Looking for Top Pop Mercury Dime Varieties & High Grade Mercury Dime Toners.
Thinking about it. I like the design and the low mintage.
$175 for a medal with a little over $50 in silver makes it a tough call.
Got a week to think about it.
The one ounce version’s of the other issues worked well with the design and much less hit to the wallet 😁

Love the reverse design.
Won't be picking one up due to cost.
A full set of this series in 2.5 would be pretty nice to see though.
I think a space force medal made by the USM should be just a big black hole, so that our $$ can be sucked in. IMHO. Really just kidding,
I have all 4 and hope to have the next 2 medals too.

No issues getting one....No waiting or delays.
Is that a female soldier on the modern soldier depiction?
I'm not sure and I can't find any write up on the design.
I'm asking because of what appears to be an abundance of hair on the soldier, lower back of the Army Advanced Combat Helmet.

Just ran all my resources and couldn’t get an answer. Still looking. Does kinda look like it but I don’t really trust these old eyes. 😂

No rush. There are still 3K available, but I suspect it will be a sell-out within the next 48 hours. Just like the previous ones.
I ordered one today. As of this writing there are 2988 remaining.......
I'm out on this one.

I ordered one. I'm not big into metals but an Army vet and like the obverse design. I'm a little disappointed Vietnam is not referenced on the reverse but I guess you can't have everything.
Thank you for your service. I believe one of the streamers has "TET COUNTEROFFENSIVE 1968"
I think you're correct. The way the flag was furled the date looked like 1868 instead of 1968. Fortunately for me in 1968 I was still in high school. I didn't get drafted until 1972.
I just ordered one.
I will wait for the 1 ounce version.. Interestingly, the Coast Guard and Air Force 1 ounce medals are still available.
Did you notice they raised the prices for those earlier issues. They made em and by ding dang dong golly , they gunna sell em.

I decided to pick one up as well, first one for me in the series.
