A terrific mail day.
I collect hall of fame rookie cards, https://www.instagram.com/stwainfan/
I see what you did there…Nice card!
End of January....... lands today..... McNuggets RC....
Got these to upgrade my set:
Don't have in hand, but on it's way. PSA 9
A Bobby Hull Rookie I purchased last year and had not yet shared.
Arrived today. A nice '52 for the Cubs PC.
Top shelf centering for that card.
Very nice one!
Wild have a nice young team. He’s a big reason for that.
Got this in the mail last night (X), but I'll be ripping later this week. 78 Vending.
A future HoFer and a current HoFer that gets me down to just 7 cards left in my HoF Rookie Set!
1985 Topps Cyndi Lauper Rip. A few boxes left on BBCE website btw.
Kiss me twice.....let's party.
February starts with a few cards for two rare sets I have foolishly chosen to pursue. 😉
1930 W554
1946 Propagandas Montiel

Snagged this nice 1969 Ernie Banks
Are those upgrades on your Propegandas set or did you find two of the ones you needed?? That is probably my favorite collecting endeavor on the board. Remarkable that you are so close.
Looks like a 9 to me. Great buy.
Thanks @brad31 !!!
I’m not even sure they’re upgrades, Brad, but no they don’t fill any holes in the set; I still need 4-5 more.
These are the ones I still need:
90 Oswald Bluege (may not exist)
92 Buddy Lewis
144 Jack Sweeting
171 Jackie Myer
177 Paul Waner
Maybe someday…

Oddball item: 1963 Stancraft playing cards Otto Graham
hey Browns1981,
Very cool...love that retro green...single bar's...Just Perfect...
Why foolish? With the advent of eBay there is little challenge in collecting most mainstream sets, at least if you're satisfied with "pack fresh" and don't need 10s. Even for most of those it's just a matter of money. More exciting to pursue something you can't easily find daily on eBay.
It was a little bit tongue in cheek. I enjoy the pursuit for the most part but I also like to finish what I start and I’m now realizing that it may not happen. There are only obscure players from an obscure set that remain…makes it tough.

I haven't purchased unopened in some time.
I have an 83T cello box - just got around to adding an 83T box - this gives me a run from 1976 to 87.
I still think Lowell Palmer might've been D. B. Cooper.
Sweet pickup Mike. A run from 76-87 - be great to see a photo of the group.

Got cards back from what will probably be my last PSA sub for a while. My membership expired and do not see myself renewing without a package that included grading vouchers.

hey Kid4hof03 ,
Nice proofs...Very Nice...
A few highlights from my final membership submission. These were part of last year's $15 special.
I was really hoping for a 9 on the 2003 Ortiz, but it's a tough card regardless.
When PSA extended the $15 special from November until the end of December, I put together a final submission of cards I had passed over in other submissions as I felt they weren't valuable enough or at least 9 worthy. I was right as I got 7 8's out of 13 cards. However, the Schilling was one that I would have passed on since it's only worth a few dollars raw.
The Ortiz Gold Wave (#/50) is his final playing days card, and is probably worth in a 10 the cost of all the 8's I got.
got the blue the other day to complete the rainbow

Decided I could overlook the coffee stain, for an otherwise nice copy.
Off the Mantle Master list, this is a real toughie and I consider myself quite lucky to have snagged it…
1968-1970 Country Cookin’ Postcard (Batting) - Mickey Mantle
…and it’s headed west for a dual certification, already. I can’t wait!!!
