@Catbert, very interesting. Before it was mentioned about the PCGS Board Meets at the Bar, I was thinking about suggesting Steve’s exhibit! Great Minds….😅
I will not be there this year but I’m hoping to make it to the ANA.
Also, Paradime coins needs to post more Under the radar dealer with awesome inventory. People should sign up for their email list. Sorry I’ll miss seeing the newps!
I will be at table #206 with proof-only half cents (all originals except 1852), Gobrecht dollars all 3 dates in VF, a full set of Standing Liberty quarters in XF thru Unc. all PCGS, Daniel Carr overstruck coins, Mexican 4 reales, and more. Hope to see you there.
An authorized PCGS dealer, and a contributor to the Red Book.
SCARSDALE COIN will be at our usual table # 403 great newps, lots of three cent silvers, and of course the best free candy you can score inside the bourse... please stop bye, introduce and/or reintroduce yourself and say hi!
I will be at my usual table in back by the U.S. Mint booth. I'm travelling light this time but will have a number of new U.S. & Canadian token slabs along with my usual widely varied inventory. (Not much for Jon/Scarsdale this time, though.)

I plan to be there as well, if the weather here at home cooperates.
Flights and hotel are booked.
This will be my 3rd FUN and the first time that i will be able to be there on Thursday morning.
I was at the forum get-together held a few years ago and it was such a good time. Finally met several members that were on my list. Everyone was passing around coins for show and tell, chatting...it was fantastic.
I haven't been participating or contributing here for quite a spell. I imagine I'm behind on the latest forum topics and haven't had that weekly interaction to have members relate to me, especially newer members.
But i will say hello when i see you and visit the various members booths and dispays.

The Surf Expo which is also in the beginning of Jan usually and is a good sized show (largest of the trade) is being held at the same time this year (4th - 6th). This happens some years. Expect a few more people for hotels, dinners and stuff.
I hope to be there, but it is very much up in the air as of now. My sister spent 41 days in ICU at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville ,Florida and was then sent to a Rehab Hospital in our town where she has been for 10 days. They are now trying to move her to another facility.

Stupid Covid got me this week after our Christmas vacation, so I had to cancel my flights. Ugh!
I've been able to avoid Covid but I couldn't win with Southwest who changed my flights late last night from getting in at noon today to arriving Thursday at 9.30 PM. I had to cancel the flight & car and eat the bourse table and hotel. It's the first FUN I've missed since I started going many years ago.

Wow, that's horrible. There was no other airlines with a departing flight to Orlando you could squeeze in on?

Looks like tons of delays into Orlando today. Detroit is 4-6hrs delayed. My friends flight from Charlotte cancelled.
My reservation was 0800 from Seattle this morning…delayed 3 times then canceled altogether!
In the ensuing scramble to rebook i somehow managed to get a 1015 PM flight tonight…i think i should feel lucky at this point…sounds like weather in Florida was the issue….Alaska airlines
My connecting flight of Charlotte to Orlando was canceled. Tried to rebook to arrive at nearby (70 miles) Melbourne and reserved a rental car to get to Orlando. That flight too was eventually cancelled. Tried to rent a car from here and drive the nearly 8 hours to get there tonight, but no rentals available.
Now scheduled to fly tomorrow and to arrive at 1:00. Will see if that happens. If not, I’ll be giving up.

After having thought that I might make it, I am now not able to attend this year. I was going to drop off some World Coins at GC, get Messy Desk to image a few coins, give some coins to a dealer to send to CAC, look at a coin that I have been eyeing online and just have FUN. Darn, darn, darn.

Southwest cancelled at 9:30 last night for a 6:20 AM flight this morning - nothing available today, packed flights due to snowstorm cancellations cascading west to east. I was coming back Friday night anyway so flying down for a day and chancing even more delays didn't make much sense.
The items being held for me by my usual trading partners will still find their way to me but I'll miss seeing my regular FUN customers (and the sales that usually ensue). I'll spend the time pushing Americana up on eBay as I"ve got a large dealer inventory with neat stuff that I'm slowly working through. I'll try again next year.
My Southwest reservation from Birmingham was delayed 3 times then canceled. Tried changing flights online while on hold for over an hour, they never answered the phone. The only flights available from Birmingham or Nashville were connecting flights with plane changes that were 8 or 9 hours long arriving about 2 am the following day. This is the first FUN I've missed since I started going many years ago.
The good news is we got home safe after a very long day.
