Shame.......shame........shame..... I love UFF but he must be bludgeoned for shifting the focus from the great Jim Brown and his great pack pull to update us on those two pulls. I could see if it was Bronco!

Good thing it wasn't a close game. Could you imagine getting 45 points but losing because you only shot 5-14 from the line?
He was a horrible FT shooter. One year he shot 38% from the line. Even Shaq wasn't that bad. Wilt easily had the worst form, he would use one hand. Ben Wallace was probably the only player who shot worse FT's than Wilt.

Born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania, United States, Reid attended and graduated from Pennsylvania State University, where he played defensive lineman for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team. He then spent five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League, earning trips to the Pro Bowl after the 1972 and 1973 seasons, before retiring after the 1974 season. He subsequently focused on his musical career, co-writing several hit singles for country music artists, including Ronnie Milsap's "Stranger in My House", which won a Grammy Award for Best Country Song in 1984. Reid later began a solo recording career, releasing two studio albums for Columbia Records. He charted seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart as a singer, including the number one hit "Walk on Faith".

Do you find that cards pulled from wax in trays tend to be in better condition (not counting centering or printing) than in loose wax?
That's a good question. I have only opened one tray thus far so can't say for sure. It seems they would be better though because of the added tray and wrapping protection.
That bottom Joe is wonderful. Might it be the matching pairs of tiny black dots on the Namaths keeping them at 9 (at top/ bottom in white borders, just left of the J in Joe)?

POP 7 No 10's
POP 10 No 10's
It’s amazing how well centered most, if not, all the cards in the pack are.
Chris, was the top card on the pack centered, so you could assume the remaining cards were likely centered as well?
I've opened a few 62 Cellos. In general the top card seems to be a good indicator of centering.
The 62 haircuts are back in vogue
That Alston is a beauty!
Now there’s a haircut you can set your watch to!
Flat tops were all the rage…back in the day!
POP 6 No 10's
The 1962 hits just keep on coming…congrats Chris!
Some of these 1962 PSA-9s would not look out of place in a PSA-10 holder...
Awesome cards congrats!!!
Congrats on the Brown bump!

Love those 62s. The Winners Celebrate is a cool card.
Well deserved! Should have been an 8.5 to begin with. Congrats!
Happy Sunday Funday cardboard junkies!!
Back from grading. Was gunning for a Kareem Rookie.

"The Chief" Rookie from a Wax Pack
Why is one of the 1969-70 cards labeled as ‘70 and the others as ‘69 ? I’m sure there’s a reason.
Yaz Master Set
#1 Gino Cappelletti master set
#1 John Hannah master set
Also collecting Andre Tippett, Patriots Greats' RCs, Dwight Evans, 1964 Venezuelan Topps, 1974 Topps Red Sox
That's my mistake. Good call.
From a 1970 Fritsch Pack. Not 69.
I was very confused until I realized the first column wasn't minutes.

Finally got these graded. They came from a Vintage Breaks pack rip some time ago before I started this thread.
Some more grades rolling in.
I always loved that Plunkett. Such a cool photo.
For the stash....
A couple from 78 Vending
Don’t know what it is about the 78 Rollie, but that card is always the best centered and condition on any 78 box, pack or rack I open.
I get a Murray and it’s a 6. I get a Fingers and it’s 8/9.
Topps respected the 'stache

79 Football...
i like seeing the progression from pack to holder.
That Mike Reid card is cool. A cool fact:
Born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania, United States, Reid attended and graduated from Pennsylvania State University, where he played defensive lineman for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team. He then spent five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League, earning trips to the Pro Bowl after the 1972 and 1973 seasons, before retiring after the 1974 season. UFFDAH ...
I sent you a msg asking a question.
If you have time could u ck it out ?
Thx..

Getting some grades back from the 1972 Topps 1st Series Vending
Those Namaths are amazing. Great color and centering. Just super-cool.
I'd be curious what 10s look like on 79 and 72 FB. The Bradshaw and Namaths look pretty solid to me.
I’ve always thought it’s difficult to impossible to distinguish a nice centered 9 from a 10.
An Archie ROOKIE
I can understand a 9 on the tilting Archie, but you got robbed on the 9's for the Broadway Joe's.
That bottom Joe is wonderful. Might it be the matching pairs of tiny black dots on the Namaths keeping them at 9 (at top/ bottom in white borders, just left of the J in Joe)?
