Awesome Jordan, but I agree - I'm really digging the batmans. Congratulations on your pulls and thanks for sharing!

Agree Batman over MJ! But cannot imagine the excitement of pulling that. Congrats!!!

Here it is !!! Missioned accomplished !! A key component of my journey to build a pack pulled collection !!

A centering shift Top to Bottom but a BLAZER nonetheless. Super proud of this pack fresh pull !!

Thanks everyone!! Very excited to pull the MJ!! And yes, BATMAN cards rock - the colors, imagery etc. make each and every one Mini Mona Lisa's !!

Congrats Chris!! Just out of curiosity, did you know the top card before you purchased that lot of packs? If not, did you check it before opening?

not really surprised that you pulled a jordan. i would not be able to sleep for a week after opening a pack with great card like that jordan in it. congrats and keep pulling the big cards. i always look foward to looking at what happens next. what do you think it will grade. looks like a eight but are there any surface issues that can be seen.

Are you going to sell the other three since they won’t have Jordan in them and get most of your $ back?

Why do you assume they won't have a Jordan. If these all originally came from the same original box and boxes average 3-4 Jordans, then he still has a chance.

Because the sequence is well known and the front card is visible. As UFFDAH indicated he knew Jordan was coming as long as the sequence held (which it occasionally does not). Assuming the front cards of the other three packs are not from the Jordan sequence, the pack is worth more than the contents.

  • UFFDAHUFFDAH Posts: 1,986 ✭✭✭✭✭

To be clear I did not know the front card until I opened the pack

  • UFFDAHUFFDAH Posts: 1,986 ✭✭✭✭✭

I could not press the wax because the pack was in a PSA holder.

Makes sense. Didn’t know that on graded packs.

Seems like centering was the best on the MJ out of the entire bunch! That’s some awesome luck.

It has great left to right but not as good top to bottom as the Buck Williams, etc. but still a nice card.

That's awesome! I've had little luck with reviews these days. Last one I went 1 for 26.

I went on a modern rip binge a month or so ago. It was fun but honestly VINTAGE is more in my wheelhouse.

You ripping and grading modern is like someone going to Red Lobster and ordering chicken!
