Only 50,000 of these available.
Will it be an instant sell out ?
Will flippers rejoice, no HHL?
Does anyone care?
I’m stuck with one to keep the dumb series going. I do wish they had kept these in single serve portions. 😁
Only $28. Such a deal. πŸ™ƒ

Not feeling the vibe on this issue. Bluegrass, snowboard, telephone(transmission) poles?

    Oh?
    Thanks ;)
The series/coin, never caught my fancy.
However, when CRHunting, if I come across some BU's, I would keep them.

This is not a series that interests me, though there were a couple of interesting designs. Cheers, RickO

I have no interest in buying them from the mint.

I will buy these on the secondary market graded by our hosts in PR70 to keep my registry sets going.

9,805 sets remain at this point.

I assume a sellout sometime in the next day or so.

The mint burned me out on their issues lately so no buy for me. Maybe when they get sold at bullion?

I don't collect modern U.S. But I do like these issues. I think they aren't a marketing success and there's minimum interest in them, but they are different.

If these were struck in .999 silver, then I would be quite interested.

I buy the silver Proof set every year. That’s it.

I was looking at the mint’s product schedule for 2023 in β€œCoin World” earlier this evening. What boring line-up! In view of the increased pressure to buy stuff as part of a subscription plan, I’m glad I am not addicted to this stuff.

I think that most reverse Proof coins are ugly. :s

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

The silver proof sets directly from the mint are priced much to high imo-one can purchase these on the secondary for much less which I have been doing. Even though I have a type set of the reverse proofs in the precious metals, the only one I find truely attractive is the gold 2006 St. Goudens.

Well, with 7,740 sets remaining and continued zero HHL, it appears that there will be no sellout.

All subscriptions have been filled, and those that really wanted them, got them.

edited to add: I was wrong as usual on predicting an early sellout.

Personally I feel really fulfilled. I’ve added another dead end coin to my other dead end collection. Right next to the 2 of 3 W nickels πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Don't feel badly. It's just supposed to be fun anyway. I've got piles of stuff that few people other than myself would care about.

I wished the 2019 and 2020 reverse coins came as a set and not individually, to me it would make sense. The individual packing is too much for one coin. The set would go well with the regular proof coins as in 2021 and this year.

Whichever way- they should have been consistent. Looks like they were making things up as they went along!!

Dollar coins are the only modern ones I collect, and at $7 each or less it sure beats the older dollar and half dollar sets I'm working on as a nice change of pace. And I actually like the sets because I can just pop them all out at once and add them to the collection.

Did you expect anything else since the mint went woke, where quality and consistency became secondary?

Wow, as many as 1000 sets returned since this November 18th post.

At this point, 7890 sets remain unsold.

It's now December 10th and 5,588 sets still remain.

Looks like there will be no sell out.
