USS Mills DER383.... served 1959-1963.... Now, 59 years later, shipmates and I get together weekly on a Zoom Chat to talk, joke and tell tales.... Yearly ship reunion as well. Great years and some memorable experiences. Cheers, RickO

US Air Force (multiple locations) 1976 - 1986. My father served in the US Army Air Forces in WWII.

I'm one of the nerd service members that kicked butt in the electronics field and who participated as a modern-day flag waver in the show of advance US military technology through AWACS (E-3) world-wide deployments. The AWACS functioned as a bouncer in God's sky in conflict areas.

A decade ago, my wife and I donated a set of unique NGC release ceremony Star-Spangled Banner coins to the Fort McHenry National Monument and Shrine. Family members know that when they hear the music of United States of America National Anthem playing, the legacy gift is also to be remembered.
