Exceptional by any measure. Not a grade, but a GT price. My wild guess, $50K.

Intoxicating coin. The reverse in particular verges on surreal.
I realize this is a trick challenge for which I’m inadequate to guess, but that is a stunning coin. I would LOVE to own it!

MS64 with exceptionally nice color.
I want it! That's a gorgeous coin....I've gotta say, that the strike seems to be sooo good it has to be proof. PF-66+

If, as some have guessed, the coin is a Proof, the color doesn't match that of a typical, original 1909 Satin Proof gold coin.

Sure beats the example from my set. Happy to trade.

I’ll reveal in a few hours.
A reminder, as the title states, that this is NOT my coin. The images are from CoinFacts and I have no idea who owns this piece.

Satin PR-66.

Well, @Catbert was right for a few guessers. This is a PR66.
For the record, I agree with @MFeld. I think the coin has been dipped, which results in a strange look when compared to other Satin proofs. This was the reason I picked this coin from CoinFacts to have a GTG done, it can really throw you - it doesn't look like your ordinary proof but it doesn't look MS either. I thought I would get one or two Cleaned guesses, but you guys didn't go for that bait.

I am no expert in coins but the coin looked too well struck to be just minstate so I thought had to be either proof or an exceptional first strike off the dies
The color looks fine to me, here's one from PCGS website:

Here are two that I would call "normal", at least more so than the OP coin. Note the textured fields and how they are very similar to one another.

I saw that one, too. However, I’ve viewed many 1909 and 1910 Satin proofs of the different denominations, in hand and that is most assuredly, not the normal color for an original example. The 1909 and 1910 Proofs have a very distinct appearance and are usually more yellow-gold in hue, as opposed to the orange-gold seen in those images. I’m not saying the coin’s not original. Perhaps the color in the image is off or the coin’s color is an exception.
This is closer to the typical color:
Edited to add: I checked out on-line images of a number of different examples and see that many of them appear to be more orange in hue than they usually appear in hand.

Yes on the image color from photos online. Here is the Legend sale photo of the OP coin. They only had a obverse photo and the TV with both.

It sold for nearly double the PCGS price guide at nearly $200K.
Now I really want one.
i like the holder too
Regardless of the color, a great coin. Most of us peons have to make do with lesser bits, although still very nice. My uncle passed away and left me a couple of gold coins with one being a currency 1909 $10 that I had slabbed; not to derail the topic but this date when graded 61, 62 or even 63 can be quite ugly in presentation so was happy that mine was alright.
Well, just Love coins, period.
I'll take the coin, you can have the holder LOL
