We attended a family gathering this past weekend, and my Uncle told a story of how he doesn't like to be outside alone when the weather changes ever since the incident.
Apparently he was walking back to the house to get out of the rain (that just started) and next thing he's flying across the threshold and smack onto the floor.
He told us "You know the Lightning is close when the Flash AND the Bang happen at the same time"
Luckily he suffered no injury, but reading the first couple pages made me think the same thing happened to you!

I’ve been to the top of Haleakala and it’s truly amazing. Looks like pictures of the lunar surface. There’s also vegetation that only grows up there. While working for Willie K, I also worked at Longhi’s Restaurant, Lahina. Awesome place.
Now Charlie, you take care of the boss. The swelling will subside well before the bruises heal. Day by day buddy. 😉🙀🦫

Wow! To live somewhere like that and have daily surroundings like you enjoy, must be great. Do not get me wrong, I love where I live...in the house I was born in 75 years later and we have some pretty spectacular views. Our Grand View is second only to Grand Canyon in the U.S. and has America's oldest river, The New River. Our overlook 5 miles from my house is 1400 feet above The New River.

Here’s a closeup of a ridiculously HAMMERED 1913 type 1. It’s graded 66 by NGC but I see it as a 67+. It is definitely a standout and would be in any ones collection. The color is a cobalt blue with luster that will bowl you over buddy.
