My type set 7-17-22

I thought I would update my progress with my favorite set.
I have been working on it when time allows.
I'm not completely happy with everything here but it's a work in progress.
I have added a few, swapped a few and just took some out that I didn't like.
My tastes are constantly changing, so I will never be done. I'm ok with that.

What an evenly matched, pleasant set.
I love the idea of offering blended circulated coins with your moderns rather than going the easy way out with UNCS.
Is this a Library of Coins album set? I see you have extra coins the DANSCO 7070 doesn't have.
You are also (possibly) missing the Kennedy and the Ike?

Good eye! I am missing both Kennedys. I found an Ike though.
It's hard to make a post like this. Hopefully I didn't forget any others.
As far as the set, it's a constantly evolving Flatwoods set.
I change it when and where I want.
I was thinking the same thing as what @braddick said as I was looking thru it. A perfectly matched set. And a 42/1 Dime to boot. Congrats on the great set. Good job.
Link added to my last update. I always try to link the previous threads so that I can look back myself.
Your no stars half dime is terrific (need the no stars dime!), and even your 1964 cent looks fantastic.
A bonus: You include both types for the three-cent silver. Most sets neglect this.

WOW! Your set is fantastic. I really like a nice high end circulated set ............

If you look at the link, the last rendition had a fabulous no stars dime.
I sold it. No idea why. I do things like that.
It was a great coin.
That’s a great looking type set!

Very nicely matched set.

You state you're missing two Kennedy halves, yet wouldn't it be three?
1964
1965-70
1971-
I would only include 1971 forward as you do include a 2000 Sac.

True. In my mind, I was thinking 64 and 65 -present but yes, I think you are on to something.
I have a harder time finding the cheap coins. No shops near me and you rarely find a VF graded Kennedy or Roosie, or 09 VDB etc.
And that my friend, is the challenge and makes this fun!
Scouring various sources looking for that quintessential "perfectly worn" coin- such as a Kennedy half, is difficult yet so rewarding when located.

Very well done and evenly matched set.. and I love the 1932S Washington Quarter.

I agree with the others. You have a very nice Type Set. Well done!
Now that I'm thinking, might as well throw the bicentennial Kennedy in there too.
That's 4 I need. Gee, thanks @braddick.
Love your set. It’s obvious you are putting much effort into it. What a great job.

Neat Kennedy halves are out there!
This is a few of the ones I own, ungraded.

I figured you had some!
Too many coins, not enough time for me!
Very nice well- matched set.
Nice looking set. You are missing a half dime, clad Roosie and Quarter as well.

When I look at a set like that, with the well matched circulated examples throughout, and better dates scattered within, I think the response is ... "Bravo!"
What a wonderful collection! Thanks for sharing!!

Yes that is a great set with matched coins. Great job!
@Flatwoods ... What a great set of coins. I like the circ look, and the inclusion of special coins as well. Sure, there are some to be added, but that is what collecting is all about. With a set like this, it grows as you find coins that suit you.... Great job, impressive coins. Cheers, RickO
A wonderful collection that reflects your efforts in building it! Really fun to examine.
Where's the 1916 SLQ?
