If I was wrong forum please redirect me to correct one. They just ran into 1965 order it weighs 5.5 g but my question is the damage does not like to be PMD looks to be mint but I can't tell the difference I'm fairly new at this I've only been doing it for about 7 months. Anybody seen this kind of damage before or is it possible a mint error...damage on both sides but opposite ends....

Unfortunately it’s all damage on both sides
for PCGS. A 49+-Year PNG Member...A full numismatist since 1972, retired in 2022
May I ask how you were able to post a picture in a post as opposed to a URL? aim new to the forum. Any forum for that matter.
Well that is easy to.post a pic, click the picture in frame at the top of the space your writting. then take a pic or you download the picture .
I don't know anything about your expertise or your background so you would you mind giving me a little of that information before you start telling me you think it's worth nothing?
Heavily cleaned and excessive PMD
I'll give you a civil answer... but it really reflects poorly on you when you can't be bothered to answer basic questions yourself. See https://www.google.com/search?q=fred+weinberg+error
Until he retired last year he was the main person working for PCGS who graded/authenticated errors. He gave you free advice that saves you a bunch of money in grading fees.
But if you don't trust him, feel free to spend the money.
Well forgive me for asking I'm new to collecting and you never know if the person or persons answering are authentic and the coin was not cleaned. I got it out of a snack vending machine 2 days ago. I did not clean it.
The OP joined last December, so they are not a new member.
You are much newer but still overdue for Member status. Maybe @PCGS_Moderator can assist.
And I was busy sorry I am in the middle of having taxes done. So how does that reflect poorly on me?
I may have joined in December but I have not really posted anything until today because I have been on other forums where people are not always as forthcoming with who they are or their credentials. I think you're right a chat moderator would be helpful.
Click on highlighted and you can upload pic there.
Nice of you to try to help him but his membership role is still "Applicant" not "Member", so he can't post pictures. That is where the Moderator can help.
I appreciate the answers to my question.
I am new here obviously, and sometimes the more knowledgeable aren’t terribly polite. Not all of us even know where to start researching something like this. That said, the vast majority have been extremely helpful.
To the OP, someone pointed me to some of the pinned posts at the top of the thread. Very helpful info. Good luck.
Well I am finding more each day. Using that method some things will post others will not. Seems almost anything form PCGS/CU will post. Almost nothing from auction companies. Kitco seems to work. Imaging hosting sites are a mix from what I have tested but more don't than do I think. Just have to test it and see if it will load or not. Can use the Preview to see before posting.

The coin could have been cleaned in 1965 or any time after. Just because you didn't clean it doesn't mean it wasn't cleaned. Harsh cleaning leaves permanent damage.
@JBK Thank you. I have thing in my profile that says I was promoted to Member on 5/10, but I do still show as applicant. Thanks for your help.
Just because you did not clean it does not mean the coin has not been cleaned/wiped... The coin is in rough shape.
Get yourself a book on photograding and the coining process it will save you a lot of time.
That coin is absolutely authentic, I can even see a knot on George's head where the cherry tree fell and hit him.

@SunnyND... Welcome aboard... You are promoted to member now... Have fun. Cheers, RickO
