It looks like an MS-63 to me. The weakness in the area of "E. Pluribus Unum" and Ms. Liberty's bustline are due to the strike which not unusual for this type. The fields look to be bright and lustrous.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
My first thought was 63-64 even the first pics. based on those in lesser grades I've had, but here there seems to be significant friction on high points.

So educate me. Are the flat spots circled on the reverse as minted?
The area on the nose is strange. If you could say that the coin was powder coated but there was an area that the coating flicked off, that describes how the nose looks. To a lesser extent the areas you have circled. The luster on the coin might be what saves it. Really beautiful.

Not sure I get the point of presenting us with a marginal photo when a much better one was available. But whatever. Looks like a nice O.114.
It belonged to Chuck Link several years ago.

There were two sets of photos from PCGS, you got both sets.
Thank you! I was lucky and bought it at auction and with only photos to look at you never quite know what you are really getting. I was extremely pleased when I go it in my hands.
Interesting... Those flat spots had me confused.... Went back and forth between AU and MS.... could not decide. Otherwise, a really nice coin. Cheers, RickO

The mushy strikes of these beautiful coins often get me.
I don’t see cheek rub.
Sigh. MS63
I don't see any rub either... just a weak strike. Beautiful piece...

Reverse seems to have rub. 58.
That's a very attractive coin Herb! I'm going to say it garnered an AU58, but I think it's quite possible it could be in a MS62 or MS63 holder.

I'm with Todd, mostly. AU58 seems right but I wouldn't be surprised by 61 or 62.
Lance.
62 was my original thought
58
I believe 58, also. But what a gorgeous 58. Would love to have picked that one up. Congrats. Hope I'm wrong and it's MS.

My first thought was 63, there's a good amount of luster remaining
Ok…..how about the other photo PCGS took…..the luster in your hand is nothing short of spectacular!

Upon further review I would like to raise my MS63 to a MS65.
From the first photo, I was in the AU58 camp, but after looking at the second image, I'm thinking MS63+

Ok gang…..it is a MS64….
Sorry I’m late to the party, but I have to admit I knew the grade ahead of time!
Gorgeous coin, Herb!

Thanks Dave….was this your coin at one time? How are you familiar with it?

Figured you deserved an LOL also!

Nice, I was going to guess 64 before I saw you posted the grade

Very Sweet looking bust half @Herb_T
