The one and only reason I wish I was able to make the show.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
That was one of the exhibits I really wanted to see, but also hoping for some pictures from attendees.

Agree. There are so many great exhibits that we need photos for.
I really like the ones for Tyrant but we need more:
The Tyrant Collection is a must see for everyone who gets an opportunity. It is amazing.
Yes folks, that is a 09vdb proof in 67+ with a GOLD CAC sticker!

That alone would be worth the price of admission. Wish I'd have been able to make the show to see these in person.
As always, gorgeous coins Stewart @RedCopper

Here are the TrueViews for the two 1974-S aluminum cents!
1974-S Aluminum Cent - Struck on Nepal 2 Paisa planchet
1974-S Aluminum Cent - Struck on Phlippines 1 Sentimo planchet
Feel a bit guilty as I’m making my way to the convention center wearing shorts. Forecast for my hometown is a high of 31 deg.
I’ll try and post a few more shots of the bourse floor today.

I’ve always admired that 1919 Lincoln.

The big difference between the two planchets is the method of manufacture .
My coin was minted on a polished planchet as a proof. I was told it came from the mint in a 1974 proof set.
I hope many of you collectors get a chance to see it. It is really fascinating .
The beard detail is beyond belief!
Yet here we have it to view and admire.

That is a nice display of Lincoln Cents!
Here's the 1909 VDB and 1955 DDO!

@RedCopper Given the rank of your Registry Sets, I'm sure PCGS would be willing to put your pedigree on you inserts. Have you thought about doing it?
Very very nice. Wow
Hoard the keys.
I saw the display and it was awesome! I also got to talk a while with Stewart Blay about his collection, that was awesome too! Thank you Stewart for bringing this collection to FUN!

Stewart - missed seeing your collection - every time I went by they weren't out.
Thanks for sharing it - I'm sure those who saw it were impressed!
I saw it and actually went back to it several times.
Mind boggling beautiful.
Also had a pleasant chat with Mr. Blay about a few of the highlights, etc., and thanked him for showing them.

Gorgeous coin!
Imagine if it had a gold bean?

Nice PCGS True View images of both 1974S Aluminum Cents showing the differences in proof and mint state:

…..what type of unicorn sorcery combo is that??!? ……😆
Nice bio!
Is this brochure available as a PDF?
Here's a nice quote:
It's nice to see Stewart on top of the Registry Sets.
The following set has changed leadership position a few times over the years. Stewart was on top, then Douglas M. Wright, Jr., then back to Stewart, then Hansen, and then back to Stewart!
Who was the winner from 2009-2013 and 2017?

I want to thank everyone who stopped by to view my collection and Rebecca Tran and the staff at PCGS for their assistance.
I really enjoyed the comments regarding
my 1919 Lincoln cent grading ms 69 red
as to the value of the coin. One of the staff at PCGS suggested a value between 100K and 400K . Then a young collector/dealer
Stated “NO” it has to be worth at least $1,000,000 . My take is that it is worth more than I paid for it and it may has been the most popular coin in the exhibit.
Stewart, as great of a coin as that 1919 is, I hope you let the young collector/dealer know that he was out to lunch. And I don’t mean on the low side.😉

Awesome Lincoln Cent Thread & Collection !!!
I wonder how intense the discussion was at PCGS when grading that 1919 MS69. I can imagine a great reluctance to give it a 69 but then having to recognize there's nothing holding it back from a 69. Has anyone who's seen it ever quibbled with the grade on that?
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
