What was your final purchase for 2021... here's mine...

I just got this yesterday... I think she's a nice addition to my 7070 Type Set. Anything on the way? Time's a wastin'...

Mine was the 2021 uncirculated mint set from eBay because the US mint apparently sent it out to be shipped but USPS never got it.

Jumping the gun, I know!
I won't know until Jan 1, 2022!
Last one for this year.

Well, I said it would be this one.

I lasted a whole 3 weeks before I picked up a cheap 32.
Uhmm, 2021 is not over yet...
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
Just picked this up. I've been wanting this set for over 25 years!

My last purchase was back in November. Just this bullion piece.

I'm not an error collector. The reverse looks like a mint error. The obverse looks like a worn 1944 dime which I'm sure it's not... For us clueless error coin people, could you please describe your purchase.

purchased together, on the same day:

@mark_dak When I bought it I thought it was just an off center, but it is called an uncentered broadstrike.

Thanks, wanted to look a little more into it. Hate to admit being clueless on errors. I guess the hobby is broad enough where none of us can be experts on everything.

I think the only coins I bought all year were a mint bag of New Hampshire Innobucks. Still in the box, so a picture would be uninteresting.
My local dealer didn't have anything for my core collection. In those situations I come home with Bullion for the stack

Lafayette Grading Set
Well, if they arrive by Friday as USPS states then I will have a few super nice and fairly rare Heraldic Art Medals to show off.

I almost landed a MS65 CAC Buffalo nickel until two bidders made last minute "hail Mary" bids. Oh well, there is always 2022.
Nice piece. I was not aware of the 17 pc basic set. I picked this one up a few months ago just because it looked cool and I didn't have anything like it in my collection.

Couple Draped halves from the Founding Fathers collection now on the way.
Looking forward to possible additions from the FUN show to begin 2022.
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
I bought this as a dandy gift to myself. I did this because I know with all certainty that I deserve it. That and I think it’s a lovely piece and goes good with my mediocre collection.
All nice end of the year perches every one, I’m still going at it.
Hoard the keys.
I took a walk on the wild side:
Smitten with DBLCs.
Not a U.S. coin.
I purchased this Edward VII coronation five pound piece to complete the 13 piece set. It's a little bright for a Matte Proof, which accounts for the PR-62 grade, but it's good enough to fit in with the rest of the set.
The rest of the set.

I believe my last purchase was the 2021 Peace dollar (from a forum member).... I do not expect any further purchases this year. Overall, it was a light purchase year - as far as coins go. Just too much good stuff out there in so many other areas of interest.
I just have too much 'stuff'...
Cheers, RickO
It is, I obviously can't type.
Bought this one Monday, got it today, all the way from Nevada to SC in 2 days!

Very nice! I'm a huge fan of these tokens.

My final major (for me) purchases for 2021 are...
This York in a DH flip...
This 2015 American Fender Stratocaster in Ocean Blue Metallic...
This 1946 Colt (Sistema) Model 1911 A1...
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

I still have a few coins in transit that may hit before tomorrow, but this so far has been my favorite purchase of the year.

Have waited a long time to get this one.
It came today from Heritage Auctions.
All marks are on the holder.

This is my final 2021 coin purchase. I was going to get a couple more items but it's been pushed to after FUN.
Morgan dollar upgrade for my set.

A few weeks ago a Colt made a limited run of the M4 carbine marked "property of US Goverment" just like our US military carries in semi auto civillain legal form.
Ironically. it cost the same amount of money as 1 ounce of gold.
Some great looking buys guys. I too bought this year's uncirculated set. Should be in my mailbox today.
