The Classic TrueView Thread

I'm a big fan of the "Classic TrueView" background, and get enjoyment from seeing coins with this background, using the PCGS logo without the center fadeout. I think I like it because the consistent background makes it look more like an actual coin on a tray, than a image backdrop / background.
Post any you like in this thread

Great post and coins!
After posting the two images in the OP and looking at years, it seems clear that there are actually two versions of this, one where the background PCGS logo is sharper and darker and one where it's less so.
Very cool!
Yes @Zoins Here are a couple of my TV's that have a less sharp mid section

This is a gorgeous coin. It seems to have the darker TrueView background.

Very nice coins! Those TrueViews are a generation (or more) later.
Love the MPL @mach1ne!
We haven't seen enough of these on the forums recently in my mind!

That's exactly what I'm looking for Bob! I'm a big fan of the template as somehow I think it makes the coins pop more.
These are gorgeous coins! I especially like the blue 1913 and the 1915!
Thanks for posting them

Wow!...No kidding. Makes me want to collect cents now.

Beautiful coins! Love the color on the Onza Stef!

Thanks, surprisingly there are only 2 graded higher. I had 4 or 5 years back all graded the same and toned.
They sold for stiff money IMO and are still ratty spendy nowadays considering it’s a bullion coin.
I think I have 4 or more in at PCGS various years toned so we shall see soon what they grade at.

I really like TruViews, but honestly never even thought about the background. Did not realize there were changes. I always focus on the coin, be it in a slab, flip, 2x2, or in a TruView..... I know, others like slabs, labels, boxes et al.... I have time for coins and two other hobbies/avocations, only so much time allotted to each. Cheers, RickO
Beautiful, thank you!

@anablep, outstanding 84-O! And I love the look of your high relief as well.
Many of these just look like regular TrueViews. Am I missing something?
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
The intention is to discuss older TrueViews with backgrounds these.
It's interesting that these all happen to be cents!
Also my favorite True View background!
Here’s a 1824 PCGS AU55 with a gold CAC

I found a couple more I own (top two) that still have the old true view background, and a couple (bottom two) I sold awhile back…..

@TheMayor thank you! The pastels on your Mercury dime are superb..
@Zoins Great thread & pix, thanks for starting this!

I have some with sorta dark background. Here are a couple:
I am disappointed that apparently I do not have any with @Zoins favorite background. But at least I have the coins to help me overcome my sorrow ...
Awesome coins. At least these backgrounds are tons better than those that had the blue gradient.

I can't believe I don't have any of that True View (the one with NASDAQ:CLCT).
Here's one I just picked up and one that I just appreciate.
