Which one do you like more? 1925 P Peace

One of these has more luster for sure but is a duller color - the other has less, but maybe sharper, luster but is much more shiny - how do you think these would grade differently?

Even tho the bottom one may look better - I think the top one would grade higher ... what you think?

Definitely, the second one. Less chatter on her cheek. B)

But much less luster as well

Your opinion still matters / that’s why I asked for it! I have followed your recent venture into peace dollars - I even responded to you - but I really hope you keep it up they are super fun coins to collect!

I would choose the second one. Scuffy cheek and neck on the first one.

The second one considering she better survived the vicious knife fight.

Yeah the luster breaks are in view but you can’t miss the reed marks on the chin either. I’ll take the luster breaks

Better strike on #2, less surface noise. What do the revs look like? Peace Roy. Coincidentally, I just picked up a 1925-P PCGS MS64 and it turned out to be a VAM-1B die gouge above IN, which is cool.

Does it matter if you have a 62 and a 63 or two 62s?

Number 1. Better strike, thicker luster ... even if her cheek isn't as clean.

There are some good size gashes on 2 in focal areas too, IMO

The second one by wide margin. But the tiara rays look weird? I don't see anything wrong with the luster of #2, but these are static images.
Don't send in either for grading, it would not be worth the expense.

The second one has more attractive luster and appearance... but the significant gouge on the chin will hurt the grade. Cheers, RickO

This was an MS65 of mine that I sold to a dealer recently. Your 2nd one on right is better. Might eek out an MS64. The hit marks on the cheek and neck are whats really holding the coins back.
1925's are really common so unless you have a legit coin I wouldn't send those in.

    I'll go with #2.
It appeals to me.> @Che_Grapes said:

The second one, without any question. All of that scuffing on the cheek and neck is unforgiveable.

The first one is struck better, but the second one has less dings and dangs.

    I prefer the second one.

Like everyone else, unless I missed someone, #2 is clearly more attractive
