With recent upgrades I am pretty happy with my type set. I might upgrade 2 or 3 of the coins. I will post the set though the Peace Dollars as I find time.

1795 $1 2 LEAVES AU55 CERTIFICATION #06590742, PCGS #6853

The first coin is a representation of the flowing hair type. I would like to upgrade this type to mint sate.

Nice. Go big, or go home! Love the first coin posted. Can wait to see the MS upgrade to that one. Thanks for sharing, congrats on completing the type set. Very nice.

Really nice coin, and really nice set.

It's funny to me that the dollar type set isn't more popular. You'd think that it would be, considering the history behind the coins and the fact that it's our basic unit of monetary value.

Maybe it's that you need a Susie B and an Innovations dollar for the set to be complete. They seem a little out of place next to gorgeous small eagle chunks of silver.

Agree on your type set comment. A set would also show the decline in the value of a dollar, from silver with designs that can be considered artwork to junk metal with designs that are less than awe inspiring.

This coin is an example of the liberty seated with motto type. I do love deep cameo proofs and may upgrade this coin at some point.

Amazing photography on this one. Both figures look like they could suddenly become animated.

    1921 $1 HIGH RELIEF, PEACE MS66 CERTIFICATION #42657723, PCGS #7356

This coin is a recent upgrade from a MS65. I paid about twice what I would have last year. Bad timming, I knew these were generally available and wasn't focusing on this coin.

Thank-you. I finally obtained an addition to my 100 Greatest Collection from the Stacks Rarity sale. I will post it when it arrives. The only coin that has come available to add to my $20 Liberties was the 1870 cc at the recent Heritage sale. Even though Heritage would have offered me terms it sold for an incrediable price far above anything I could pay. I have been mostly doing upgrades to the Liberty set. I have one from Great Collections that I will post soon.

I have been trying to upgrade my Type 2 Liberty DE and that has proven difficult with the quick run up in pricing. Thanks for sharing all of this adventure. I enjoy seeing the progress.
