I occasionally release a buffalo or Indian cent into the wild... Eventually it could make somebody's day. 👍

Before silver was taken out of dimes, quarters and half-dollars, coins circulated, and as a kid, I found all sorts of stuff. An occasional IHC, Liberty Nickel, Barber coinage, an occasional dateless SLQ, etc.
Now, I'll occasionally find a penny from the 1930s or 1940s, or a 1939 P nickel.
"Vou invadir o Nordeste, "Seu cabra da peste, "Sou Mangueira......."
I found a barber dime recently and was shocked!!
I got so excited I put it up someplace to store it so I didn’t lose it and still trying to find that place where I put it ...

Buffalo nickels in change, especially those with easily readable dates, are very rare circulation finds these days!
Wow! I haven’t received a Buffalo nickel in change since the 1960s. And even back then, I do not remember finding one with a date on it. Nice pickup!
Nice. Plucked from the wild.

I have been known to recast the no dates, but yes that is quite the find.
