That as others have said, is a cud. Actually, many consider it a die variety and not an error as such, because it occurred on the die. Because it's on the die, it "repeats itself", and so there can be hundreds of the exact same anomaly and so can be attributed with a die number. Nice example.

That is a nice cud.....and ill add this ive never ever found a cud in all the years of collecting, roll or bag searching ...or just by chance. Ive found quite a few wild strikes but never a cud.

Same here until last year I found a 1984-D. (I think......either that or a 1983-D.)
