Finished my toned Buffalo nickel date set.

I bought a raw 1924 this summer and it is now graded and trueviews up. It is a reverse toner which isn’t ideal but nice enough. Toned 24 do not turn up too often.
There’s a couple I’d like to upgrade but for the most part I’m happy with the set. The most obvious upgrade candidate is the 1921 in 55. Most of these 1921 I find toned are 66 and 66+ which is more than I want to pay.

Many of these coins I bought raw and these I am the most proud of. Notably are the 13 type 2, 14, and 1923-1928.

Here’s a link to the album if anybody is so inclined.

Special thanks to @crazyhounddog as he did most of the imaging on these!

Fantastic set! Lovely color on all of them, which is not that common with the Buffs. Well done.

That's a helluva set, Jeremy! I also have a set but it's not as spectacular as yours.

The ones I've seen of yours seem on par to superior to mine.

Curious on if you bought your raw coins at shows, brick and mortar, or online. I would think it would be difficult to judge AT v NT from online images when trying to build a toned set? Beautiful coins

All off ebay. I think I've only had a couple come back AT (maybe just 1) but my biggest arch nemesis is "wheel mark" damage.

That is awesome and I HATE the word "awesome."
Truly a pleasure to see. Almost makes you wish you didn't need boxes for the slabs.

Those belong in a multi-holder where the real impact is. :o

How long was the journey to get those?

    I'm still stunned. B)

It’s very easy to do within the pcgs set registry. The trueview is already associated with it and you just zoom in until it’s centered, or you can upload your own photos and do the same.

I've been working on my set since the mid eighties. This was the first coin in that set, purchased around 1986. I still need to improve on half a dozen dates in the set but it is complete.
