How easy or difficult is it to find clad Roosevelt dimes with eye appealing, multi colored toning like that present on the 1966 dime shown immediately above?

I have a few toned early clad Roosevelt dimes (mostly SMS dimes and proof dimes) that are very attractive.

I also have a set of toned MS silver Roosevelts that I bought years ago. Overall the set of silver dimes are eye appealing, but except for a few coins, they would grade at best an MS63 or MS64.

It is significantly more difficult to find rainbow toned clad dimes than their silver counterparts. I’ve seen fewer than 10 clad dimes that would command a premium if they were silver.

I thought I purchased an "unsearched" roll of 1983-P Roosevelt Dimes, I got 1983-S in stead, is this the better deal or should I send it back?

I knew I should never have sold my 1990 D 67 FB. Sell it I said, you'll get another one I said.

@Dan50 so I should send it for reconsideration, as MS67+FB ? I don't have good luck like that, most of what I think should be graded higher comes back 1 less. I'm happy with MS67FB.

Stooge my old friend how are you, and those sweet Roosies. I took a little hiatus but I'm back to focus on my capped bust set, but look forward to glaring at some of those Roosies of yours. All the best my friend!

Of course not Stooge. That’s why I asked the question.

One day, we will likely find out.

I thought you were being sneaky Wondercoin. Surprised John didn't end up with it. Maybe he just didn't like it, as his 7+ looks much nicer to my eyes anyways.

I tell it like it is and always have with every Roosie dime I have ever been asked about. Don’t take my word for that - just ask Nick.

It is my opinion that John can have literally any Roosie he wants. You can count on the fact that he wasn’t a fan of the coin (including at that price point).

I can assure you that John F nor I were the underbidder. The underbidder is also a mystery to me.
    I was out at $4K
