Fixing a chair awhile back, I saw this inside one of its cap type nut. Untouched by me, other than darkening overall the photo.
Of course its natural. Thinking a research tool ?
Sorry but that's all I got, for now.

If only this damage in photo, (above),came with numbers inside it's image.

emeraldATV Is that a Lincoln With a S or 6 over at the left? Can you make the picture smaller so we can tell more about it?

Many photos of many coin details. Copy and past works with filters doing the work.
    Size matters ?

I seem to recall a monster coin (think it was a 47-D in an NGC holder) that onlyroosies bought from Coppercolor at the January FUN Show. Perhaps this is the coin? I might be incorrect. There was a thread with image, but I can't find it.

The top 2 sets (John's and Hansen's set) along with JHF's retired set means a new pop top was made. From the looks of it, it's the '47-D.

Nick, I notice the coin in question back in January in a holder from ATS. One of the finest I've ever seen. Someday I'd like to see that coin in person.

Surprised I actually remembered the coin and date, since I'm old and forgetful. Not at all surprised however the coin went 68+FB. Really a beautiful 47-D!!!

Love the set Drizz, the uniformity is just awesome in any grade and quite difficult to accomplish. Hard to find quality coins for the grade. I've passed on a few myself in 66+FB. In this grade the 1961 hasn't even been made yet.

Image below. Question: If it didn't have those few few dark specks would if have graded 69FB?

Curious on everyone's thoughts. Really a stunning clean Roosie.

Grading is not my strong suit, especially when you're talking a half point, That being said, based on the pictures, one of if not the cleanest, nicest silver Roosies I've ever seen.

Answer me this if you will:
How does the #1 (Halcyon) & #9 (Rick Jones) FB Silver sets each have a 1958 MS67+FB in their
set. These are 2 different coins yet the pop shows 1/0.

Crackout, and kept the Cert# and came back same grade in a different holder?

Well, it's not the same coin, so no crack out. The POP Report has not been updated is my guess.

With the new cherry pickers guide that came out this summer, does anyone know what the new varieties are that were added. Please share if you know.

Yes it should and now it is as the pop report now shows it as 2/0.

I spoke with Set Registry last week about the new Cherry Pickers Guide.
There is more than one Roosie Variety coin that will NO LONGER BE REQUIRED in the Registry Sets, and will
be deleted from the required list, once PCGS updates their Registry system.
There are many Variety coins that are currently required in ALL DENOMINATIONS of coins that will no
longer be required in the Registry.
I was told that there is one variety Mercury Dime that will be deleted from the Registry, that one collector paid $15,000 for and now it is being deleted from the required list. He is not a happy camper.
