Hi guys, found this Silver 2010s pf. Kennedy half not too long ago while CRHunting. I'm torn between two decisions. One, it's beautiful, Silver and has a low mintage. 585,401 and two, it's kinda beat up. The obverse and the reverse. Silver content is 90%, at about $9. So, what do you guys think and/or suggest?
Should I dump it for the cash or should I keep it for a CRH conversation piece? Thanks guys

If you have a stack of 90% I would just add it to that, otherwise maybe dump it and buy your next few coffees with the proceeds.

Proof silver sounds like a CRH trophy to me.
I would dump it but if you have to ask, I would say you're leaning towards keeping it.
You're right about the coffee choice. I can receive 3 full 20 oz.. cups of My favorite coffee for the silver value! That's 3 days of FREE Coffee. Lol
Boy 'o boy, I'm torn. The coin is very cool though. Despite its many hits and scuffs.
The darn coin is almost 4 times more scarce than any "W" quarter.

Just checked the PCGS Price Guide. In a 62, it has a $14 value. It might be close to that? 62 or 61? Not desperate for the cash but wouldn't mind throwing in my junk silver jar. At the same time, like Coinhoarder mentioned. It is a cool story to share. I love the mintage too. Whatever the vote results are tomorrow at noon. I will DO! Lol. Thanks guys

Put it in the junk silver pile and cash it in. Use that as part of the money to buy something you really want.
I would save it... I save all the silver coins I find - dimes or quarters or halves....Cheers, RickO

I always save my more interesting finds. That's a pretty interesting coin to find, even if impaired.

Your dilemma has crossed my path several times over the years. I would hold it for now (until silver prices go back up). Add it to your pile of silver. I'm not exactly sure what you collect or what your priorities are besides your CRH activities.
I've been holding these, plus other 90 & 40%'ers for the past 6 months to a year. I eventually dump them in bulk and buy key dates to complete sets or to up-grade.

I wouldn’t have a use for it as a collector’s item, but holding some precious metals it not a bad idea these days.
