Favorite Obscure Regional Issue

I'm a big fan of regional issues. There are many that are well known and loved like the Morell Meats Dodgers, 60's Kahns, Yankees/Dodgers Dormand postcards, etc. Let's see those more obscure, hard to find or rarely shared regionals. Here are my two favorites from my collection:
As a Gary Carter collector, one of the more difficult items to find is the 1976 Red Path sugar packet. I've got this stained packet and also an uncut sheet that has Gary on it
This is in my top 10 favorite items in my collection, 1968 AAMCO oversized postcard of Roger Maris. The "set" also included postcards of Johnny Unitas and 2 of Wilt Chamberlain
Collecting anything and everything relating to Roger Staubach

not sure if considered “regional or obscure” but ‘54 red hearts are hard to beat.
This was given out because Ballantine Brewery was celebrating its 11 years as official beer of the Yankees. Totally obscure and available in a very small region for one day:

@1951WheatiesPremium I love that one, never seen it before!
Not precisely regional but I imagine a lot were sent to the Midwest. These were available as part of a mail away offer from Rawlings upon his retirement in 1963.
Take the time to read how good he was; there’s a reason he was called The Man and no one has been called that ever since.

The event ran for 5-6 years, that was from year two. Here’s a few articles from NJ papers and some kids on field the night of - it looks to me like they’re holding it and hoping to get it signed...last two photos.

These were available to Legionnaires in 1947 that made the trip to the national convention in Brooklyn. A baseball game was on the menu of events that weekend, so this keepsake premium was given by the team to attendees.
See why it’s extra special? Game was fall of 1947...

That Maris is Awesome!
bubblegumless dayton news are also some of my favs.
Great stuff! I love when player and team collectors start sharing, so many cool issues that are rarely seen. The newspaper issues are very interesting. @stevegarveyfan How were you able to convince PSA to grade them? Another collector has tried to get this Expos newspaper issue graded a couple of times with no luck.
Cool stuff. Love the Carter and Bench items...all-time great catchers are undervalued in general. Here is a regional oddball item of mine. While not a card, it is an original menu from Michael Jordan’s restaurant in Chicago...
similar to daytons & pre-dates the ‘84 star xrc:
I am not sure how. I am still surprised they graded it. That Carter is amazing. Love it!
@blurryface I completely forgot about the Wichita newspaper cards.
they are fun and super hard to track down. does psa grades these yet?
1986 Beatrice Meadow Gold Milk:
IMF
I love that one.
@JoeBanzai that Peters Killebrew is just amazing!
Available in Cuba...

Smokey the Bear fire safety stadium giveaway in 1988, and this one happens to be autographed.
.
I suppose nobody has a California state trooper exclusive card of Rickey Henderson? My friend is a big Henderson collector; he said it’s one of his white whale cards. Thanks!
Here are some AFL-related favorites...
1961 Golden Tulip Potato Chips
1961-62 HD Lee Company
1962 Union Oil
1962 Golden Arrow Dairy
1969 Tresler Comet
1987 Broncos Ring of Fame
Thank you!
I think this might count.
1994 Upper Deck Michael Jordan Chaos In The Windy City Card. Inserted into the 1994 issue of Gamepro.
Sorry about the image quality but haven't taken a better pic of this in years.

Also, I’m not sure how national the Tharp’s Ice Cream brand was in 1928. As a redemption for free scoops or gallons, I wonder how many survive. There’s less than 10 of the Iron Horse graded by PSA...

@ReggieCleveland was a big help with both; offered his copious knowledge on the Babe card and gave me a phenomenal experience purchasing the Lou.
Thanks again, Arthur!!!

Awesome with the old school AFL.
1972 Pro Star Promotions
Holy hand grenades! That's incredible!
1950 Inquirer Fightin' Phillies "cards". These are really just handcut newspaper "album" photos of the players - here's an example (the black backer is slightly larger than a letter-sized piece of paper, for size reference):

A PSA 10 Pro Star is incredible!
And my personal favorites? These are the 1951 Wheaties Premium Photos; the only complete set ever assembled in PSA slabs. 😎

Couple Larry Bird items.
Lays chips had a Lays Ups The Bet promotion/ad campaign in 1992 and my Mother had been operating a small store at that time and I latched onto this which was used on the chip racks.
And a few Miller Lite beer stand-ups that was given to me by the manager of a local Welby Drug store (which morphed into Rite Aid and now Walgreens) after the promotion was ended.

only game played on diamonds. so its the only one i wanted outta the set...
The rest f the set is very nice, of course, but the Berra stands out extremely strongly as the best image of him that I've ever seen, and by a long shot.
I really like this card/issue:
I think my favorite regional issue of all-time still has to be the Dormand postcards of the 1950's.
@redlegs - The Dormands are REALLY beautiful cards.
Thank you!
I have a ton I could share, but my favorite regional issue is 1933 Uncle Jack’s Candy (from Rhode Island). Here’s my Foxx. Last I knew, there were only 2 slabbed by PSA.
Yaz Master Set

Also collecting Andre Tippett, Patriots Greats' RCs, Dwight Evans, 1964 Venezuelan Topps, 1974 Topps Red Sox
I found out recently that there are 3 variations of the Mantle. A light blue, darker blue and purple sky...one for each year, maybe (53-55)?
I think mine is light, yours is dark though could be the scan...
