Took many years, but I learned a lot about gold from the board and others along the way.

Congratulations! You have some prime coins in that set. I'm also doing that set and missing the three but even then I couldn't match the quality of your coins. Enjoy your completion!

Congratulations! You have stronger material than I have. When I was building my set, anything higher than MS-65 went for moon money. I'm glad I didn't buy some of them ten years ago because the bids have dropped.

I have completed the U.S. gold type set from 1795 to 1933 according to the NGC registry, minus the four dollar coin, which the PCGS registry recognizes. I don't include it because it's a pattern, but that is neither here nor there.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
