Has this 1944 Walking Liberty Half Dollar been polished?

Just curious about this 1944 Walker. Does it appear to have been polished?

The photo makes it looks as if it has been but it may just be the photo. It would have to be seen in-hand.
Photo's can conceal some polish evidence.... and this one shows no obvious polish marks. Would have to be evaluated in hand. Cheers, RickO
Doesn't look polished. Need to turn down the high beams. Any lines seen are probably die polish.
It's hard for me to tell.
I don't think so
Collector, occasional seller
possibly dipped ?? anyone?
Seems a little unnaturally bright, but I’m looking at it on my iPhone, so hard to tell.
Not my coin. Just a coin on ebay that looked polished to me. I was pretty sure the lines on the obverse were die lines, but the coin just looked polished to me. Thanks for the education.

Keep tilting and rolling the coin to get different angle views of the coin's surface. If there are polish marks, you will may see them.

Nope...just Czeched...

The appearance in those photos make the luster look very unnatural. If those photos are all you have to evaluate the coin, I would pass.
I see some lines in the obverse field to me, but it’s not enough to totally condemn the coin. I just would not get involved it from what we see here.
Trick photography.
Bill, I have no need for this coin, I just saw it and thought something didn't look right about the luster and thought perhaps it had been polished. Just thought I would bring it here for educational purposes. I feel sure the lines on the right field is die lines and did not think them to be scratches. Just didn't appear right to me. Thanks all for the replies.

Dipped numerous times. Abused. Poor thing never had a chance.

Can't tell. Looks off.
Not a straight grade coin; I agree with the others.
