Here are the two MS66+ coins.
1794 Dollar - William Strickland, 6th Baron Boynton
1794 Dollar - Frederick Charles Cogswell Boyd
market priced grade ?
I definitely prefer the William Strickland, 6th Baron Boynton example.

11 million!
I've seen both of them, and I prefer the Frederick Charles Cogswell Boyd specimen.

“World's Greatest Collection” sale, (Numismatic Gallery, January, 1945): Lot 1; Adolph Friedman;
Charles Williams; 1949 ANA Convention Sale (Numismatic Gallery, August, 1949): Lot 140; Beverly
Hills Stamp & Coin Shop (Abe Kosoff & Max Justus) Fixed Price List, 1957; 1958 ANA Convention
Sale (Numismatic Gallery, August, 1958): Lot 1678; James Kelly; Lelan Rogers; Numisma ’95 Sale
(Stacks, November, 1995): Lot 1315; purchased by Jay Parrino, who had it certified by PCGS (as MS-
66); The Mint (Jay Parrino) Fixed Price List, 1996; Stellar Collection.
After the Lelan Rogers auction, Jay Parrino submitted it to PCGS for grading, and there was a debate as to the grade at PCGS, as to whether is should be graded 66 or 67!
While I will never own one, I must say, it would be awesome to hold one in my hand, and study it for a while. Cheers, RickO
