So for the "15 day" Express at $75, what are those currently running? I could find a page on BGS where their dates are estimated in real time, but I couldn't find any actual turnaround for PSA.

had one of these a while back. was put in w a bulk order during the early inception of the bar code system. and 30-35 day range hit the nail on the head.
I had my most recent order go from entered to grading on a Saturday. Are they working Saturdays to cut down on the backlog? Or have they always worked Saturdays?

No, there is no expedited service level option for pack submissions.

now that is an amazing feat! I have 2 that arrived on 6/24 sitting in r&id, would be ecstatic if one of those did that!
I wanted to add this as a side note for those subbing packs. These aren't complete, but interesting enough, the packs are in assembly, and the cards have not even begun to be graded. So, they shipped off the packs to Steve, got them back, graded them, and now assembling before my bulk card order has even been touched.

SHould I be concerned or is this nothing to worry about.
I sent 1 package with 2 order on 12/3/20 one was a Express order and the other was a bulk Less than 200.00 PSA graded card reviews 20 cards total. They sent me an email saying they received the express order but never mentioned the Bulk 20 card order in the email. They logged the Express recieved(both) 12/09/20 logged 12/14/20(only the 1 order of the 2) shipped 01/11/21(express order). But no acknolegment of the second order to date. Not even logged or received an email they have the 20 cards.
Is this not normal or should I be starting to worry?????????

both should have been at least marked as "received". but the bulk shouldn't be logged for another 3 - 4 months. so, maybe. i'm starting to get concerned about a ton of things actually. i'm pretty lax on timelines, but i've got things that have been logged since june that still haven't popped. the process seems to be taking longer vs getting better. i've had somebody else's order of significant value shipped to me by mistake a while back. i now have an order that popped a few days ago that finally got shipped but the tracking shows it's in mexico for some reason. and this is on my fedex tab. economy orders that shoulda been back 5 months ago that haven't moved. every time i log in the "estimation" and log in dates get pushed back further. i have my last economy order from way back in september (before they took that level away) finally just now get logged last week. it just seems that things are getting sloppier and slower. maybe the markets so hot right now and prices are going crazy because psa has everybody's damn cards! 🤯

It depends on the submission level. Bulk is probably 4 months plus. My last bulk order from October was entered at week 12 or 13. It’s probably worse now. The bigger problem is that nothing makes it past grading. I still have economy and cc orders from the first week of August in grading. Pretty insane. CC vouchers ended up being a huge ripoff, which PSA should frankly refund if they are going to grade them slower than bulk.

agreed. bulk & specials wait time, i get. but they should be offering some type of partial refund on ANYTHING economy or voucher wise. i still have some economy orders from july stuck in r&id. it's way past the point of absurd and the same old excuses are stale.
When did they send you an email saying they got your package. I sent 2 orders in one package and they only sent me an email acknowledging the express order.
A week after they got it they sent this. The express order was just 1 card and I had a bulk 20 card review order in the same package.

I sent 2 orders in one package as well, but both were quarterly specials. One from 1972 to 2017 and one for ultra modern 2018 to now. I mailed them on 12/8, they were received on 12/12, and both were logged in as arrived on 12/13, so I am at 33 business days which I know means absolutely nothing, but it's always how I've kept track.
Ok thanks for the info. Im concerned then as my 20 PSA card review order was never acknowledged. And received in December. I will call them first thing Monday morning!

Not sure if this helps, but I sent a package with 2 orders in the same box: 19 post-1981 packs and 4 post-1972 packs. They both “arrived” 10/13/20... the 1972+ order was entered 11/19/20 but the 1981+ order wasn’t entered until 1/14/21. Both currently in Research & ID, which I guess means that Steve has them. Some of the 19 had prime cards visible through the wax wrapper and I chose those sub-categories when submitting, so I guess there’s a chance someone’s verifying my eyesight before shipping to Steve...

In the pack shipment I explained above, I got the email you describe for the first order the day it moved into “Research & ID” but didn’t get the same email for the second order until 2 months later when it entered that same phase. I wouldn’t worry that it’s lost quite yet - your second is probably a lower priority or has a longer line in front of it, and goes into a different queue before it gets picked up and the email sent. Although I will admit that I was nervous enough about my lagging pack order that I submitted a case to ask, and it moved into “Research & ID” the following day. So maybe it does help to reach out.
7 weeks since my last update and no movement on any of my submissions. In addition to this inertia, after waiting four months (July 2020 to December 2020) for a reholder order to get back to me, when I got the cards back there were shards of plastic and bits of paper in 18/22 holders. Took three weeks to get a conversation with PSA, and now the cards are back at PSA and I'm waiting for PSA to deal with it. Seven months in for reholders, with no end in sight.

guess still shell shocked about how this one moved thru the system directly to q2. was honestly expecting another solid month just sitting there!
anyways, keeping in mind that pretty much all this modern basketball was from boredom rips way back during intial covid lockdowns. its all headed for the auction block as soon it gets here. nothing really "cherry picked" to send in. if i felt the card could bring back $25 even in a psa 8 form to pay for grading fee, commission and pocket a few cards to long term hold, that's what i did. with all that being said, pretty d@mn happy.

agree. i've got a few keepers of him. think the coach is leashing him purposefully after the stuff that went down in the bubble last year and his subsequent comments. while it mighta not been the pc thing to do, he certainly wasn't wrong either.

to give you guys a little bit of hope, i have a bulk that arrived 6/25, was entered 8/18 and has been stuck in r&id until today. skipped over everything in the middle and now in q2.
not sure what to think though. popping any day or another month+ of agony?
now that is an amazing feat! I have 2 that arrived on 6/24 sitting in r&id, would be ecstatic if one of those did that!
I wanted to add this as a side note for those subbing packs. These aren't complete, but interesting enough, the packs are in assembly, and the cards have not even begun to be graded. So, they shipped off the packs to Steve, got them back, graded them, and now assembling before my bulk card order has even been touched.

SHould I be concerned or is this nothing to worry about.
I sent 1 package with 2 order on 12/3/20 one was a Express order and the other was a bulk Less than 200.00 PSA graded card reviews 20 cards total. They sent me an email saying they received the express order but never mentioned the Bulk 20 card order in the email. They logged the Express recieved(both) 12/09/20 logged 12/14/20(only the 1 order of the 2) shipped 01/11/21(express order). But no acknolegment of the second order to date. Not even logged or received an email they have the 20 cards.
Is this not normal or should I be starting to worry?????????
both should have been at least marked as "received". but the bulk shouldn't be logged for another 3 - 4 months. so, maybe. i'm starting to get concerned about a ton of things actually. i'm pretty lax on timelines, but i've got things that have been logged since june that still haven't popped. the process seems to be taking longer vs getting better. i've had somebody else's order of significant value shipped to me by mistake a while back. i now have an order that popped a few days ago that finally got shipped but the tracking shows it's in mexico for some reason. and this is on my fedex tab. economy orders that shoulda been back 5 months ago that haven't moved. every time i log in the "estimation" and log in dates get pushed back further. i have my last economy order from way back in september (before they took that level away) finally just now get logged last week. it just seems that things are getting sloppier and slower. maybe the markets so hot right now and prices are going crazy because psa has everybody's damn cards! 🤯

It depends on the submission level. Bulk is probably 4 months plus. My last bulk order from October was entered at week 12 or 13. It’s probably worse now. The bigger problem is that nothing makes it past grading. I still have economy and cc orders from the first week of August in grading. Pretty insane. CC vouchers ended up being a huge ripoff, which PSA should frankly refund if they are going to grade them slower than bulk.
agreed. bulk & specials wait time, i get. but they should be offering some type of partial refund on ANYTHING economy or voucher wise. i still have some economy orders from july stuck in r&id. it's way past the point of absurd and the same old excuses are stale.
My quarterly grading special of 45 cards arrived 11/09/2020 and was just entered/logged 1/29/21. Shows research and ID now.
When did they send you an email saying they got your package. I sent 2 orders in one package and they only sent me an email acknowledging the express order.
A week after they got it they sent this. The express order was just 1 card and I had a bulk 20 card review order in the same package.

I sent 2 orders in one package as well, but both were quarterly specials. One from 1972 to 2017 and one for ultra modern 2018 to now. I mailed them on 12/8, they were received on 12/12, and both were logged in as arrived on 12/13, so I am at 33 business days which I know means absolutely nothing, but it's always how I've kept track.
Ok thanks for the info. Im concerned then as my 20 PSA card review order was never acknowledged. And received in December. I will call them first thing Monday morning!

here's the kicker...i ship a TON w fedex for my pharmaceutical company. been doing it for 20 years now. never in those 20 years and probably close to 200,000 shipments w them have i ever seen a continental package go out of the country. it's always local hub>memphis>destination city. even in inclement weather where a plane is grounded, the cargo stays on the plane. why this package ended up in mexico is beyond me. i am guessing they caught the error in mid shipment or something. that's what happened to me when i was sent about $100k worth of somebody else's cards by mistake. i was called just prior to them getting delivered. my only real question, if they arrive safely, is just what is this international, merry-go-round shipment actually going to cost me since it was on my tab?

Not sure if this helps, but I sent a package with 2 orders in the same box: 19 post-1981 packs and 4 post-1972 packs. They both “arrived” 10/13/20... the 1972+ order was entered 11/19/20 but the 1981+ order wasn’t entered until 1/14/21. Both currently in Research & ID, which I guess means that Steve has them. Some of the 19 had prime cards visible through the wax wrapper and I chose those sub-categories when submitting, so I guess there’s a chance someone’s verifying my eyesight before shipping to Steve...

In the pack shipment I explained above, I got the email you describe for the first order the day it moved into “Research & ID” but didn’t get the same email for the second order until 2 months later when it entered that same phase. I wouldn’t worry that it’s lost quite yet - your second is probably a lower priority or has a longer line in front of it, and goes into a different queue before it gets picked up and the email sent. Although I will admit that I was nervous enough about my lagging pack order that I submitted a case to ask, and it moved into “Research & ID” the following day. So maybe it does help to reach out.

7 weeks since my last update and no movement on any of my submissions. In addition to this inertia, after waiting four months (July 2020 to December 2020) for a reholder order to get back to me, when I got the cards back there were shards of plastic and bits of paper in 18/22 holders. Took three weeks to get a conversation with PSA, and now the cards are back at PSA and I'm waiting for PSA to deal with it. Seven months in for reholders, with no end in sight.

guess still shell shocked about how this one moved thru the system directly to q2. was honestly expecting another solid month just sitting there!
anyways, keeping in mind that pretty much all this modern basketball was from boredom rips way back during intial covid lockdowns. its all headed for the auction block as soon it gets here. nothing really "cherry picked" to send in. if i felt the card could bring back $25 even in a psa 8 form to pay for grading fee, commission and pocket a few cards to long term hold, that's what i did. with all that being said, pretty d@mn happy.
