MAJOR difference and improvement @TurtleCat!! Like the scratches were never there!! 👍🏻 👍🏻 Thanks!
The stuff works really well. You just smear it on and then rub it off in a circular pattern with a cloth. Usually just takes one pass to get the scratch out.

Not to hijack your thread. Just wanted to show you what I used and the results. With a little elbow grease.

My one and only half cent here.
Such beauties in this thread have me wanting to get more of this cool issue! I snagged mine raw at my favorite old LCS. Previously, it was close by right in the neighborhood but now I live hours away. I miss them!

Although the Liberty Cap type is collected under one umbrella, the design changed greatly within the year 1794 and once again in 1795. The differences are remarkable.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Bill. That 1795 half cent is perfect to my eye. Especially like the color.
Thank you! That one is a lettered edge, Cohen 1. It's in the lower end of the condition census for the variety. It was rated as #7 when I bought it about a decade ago. It was struck somewhen in the October to December period of 1795.
Oddly enough, it's easier to get the lettered edge pieces in the higher grades than the plain edge varieties.

I need to get the camera back out and take a few pics of my raw half cents soon. So many nice ones posted. I know it’s not as popular as a series as others but I always think they are pretty cool.

Half-cents are the best!

Man, that one is stunning. I can’t believe it’s only a 64. I was guessing 66.
My second one. I need to get more. I know I’ve posted the heck out of this one

Do half pennies count?
As an aside, it’s amazing how cheap some of this early dark side material is:

One of the higher grade pieces in my collection. It's such a pretty coin that I used it for the cover of my Draped Bust Half Cent book.
