I doubt a better set of early dollars, Seated dollars or Trade dollars will ever be assembled. Bruce's eye, instincts and passion should be an example for future collectors to study.
I like the title of the book exhibited with the 1794 Dollar "A Superpower Is Born: The Rise of The Dollar", but wonder how many people who view the display will consider the title not PC.

Nice display. But that carpeting is quite the distraction to the display. Looks like the type used in casinos.
What’s the matter you don’t like Paisley’s? Reminds me of the sixties more than a casino. I’m pretty damn sure nothing can distract from this unbelievable collection of Americana. It truly is an amazing set.👌🇺🇸
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
TDN, that was a lot of fun, virtually had a private viewing. Tough to get good shots; glass, lighting and a rope to keep (social) distance from the coins. ;-)
But what a treat to see so many iconic coins together. It was well worth the pitstop (Paris to Hawaii) to see this once in a lifetime viewing. Thanks again for setting up my badge.

From what I understand casinos pick such gaudy carpeting to assist in keeping patrons eyes on the gambling devices. Figuring no one wants to look down at such carpeting. In the case of this collection no such/or any assistance would be needed. It stands on its own merit. To be sure, most visitors probably will be looking at the collection to even notice any distractions. P.S. Never was much of a paisley guy, preferred the tye dye look.

Really a nice display Bruce and a tribute to a consumate and passionate collector. You've been a great caregiver of this part of Americana. Great seeing you again in Vegas. You have such interesting friends!
Thank you Bruce for posting this for those of us that could not make it in Person. I also really appreciate you posting all your purchase for the board to see. I look forward to your next collection.

Nice! Wish I could have seen it in person.
Looks great, congrats on assembling a superb collection, and good luck in selling.
An amazing collection and really is something to behold.
Congratulations and the best of luck with the auction.
Yeah, I still think the 1794 Dollar should be SP67PL!!
Super, super coins!

Thanks for sharing. I hope whoever acquires those coins is as generous as you have been in making them available for viewing.

Best wishes to you for an auction that exceeds your expectations.

Great collection Bruce! I too wish I could see those in person.
You've always been one of the good guys around here IMO, and I am glad to see you and your collection getting a proper place in the annals of time.
I hope your expectations are exceeded, and the next caretakers have as much passion and appreciation as you have shown.

Wish we had something like that to see up here in Alaska. I could only imagine seeing a collection like that in person. Good luck with your sales!

Thanks for the pictures Bruce. The auction will be a special moment in numismatic history.
A great display, true. A greater display of modesty. Wishing you the best.
I will still commit $1,000 cash or bullion to the "get Bruce to punch bookmark the D" on the 1804 dollar with a T & N

No one's asking the most important question here...
Where can one get that carpet?
Very nice display and awesome coins! I think it would be better as a walk-around so you can see both sides of the coins though.
Collector, occasional seller
A definate jaw-dropping collection!

Impressive display, garish carpeting.

What an honor. Well deserved.
But.....why are the coins positioned sideways on that wall?
Rotated photo.
It was meant as a joke. Oh, well.
Awesome coins. The carpet is designed to both stimulate spending and hide stains. 😉

Wonderful, Bruce. Worthy of a great collection!
